Im definitely planning on hosting a poll on some other site (limit is only 10 here) in order to make popular packs more noticible. Popular packs will get between 1 and 3 starts or something like that to the right of the display image depending on the number of votes, so when you scroll down the list, you'll notice packs more easily.

Ive also thought about making a little business deal with a few authors on here using adfly links on their pack. Id be something like the first 5 packs and some other popular packs whos authors want to make some money. 
Coterie Craft, for example, would get around 75,000 or more clicks in a month which is 150$. 25% would go to me and 75% to you. You'd get payed in your paypal account, or you could opt to donate it to charity, in which case id put all the money that wants to be donated to charity in one pile and donate it at the end of the month. Maybe for people with no bank account or paypal i could do something like buy you a game on steam or something you want...
The adfly link would be either a direct link with a banner or a 5 second fullpage wait. Banner ads make 50% less than full page. I'd recommend the banner ad unless you really want to make money and give up the certain percentage of views your pack would lose from people who don't like adfly.

Criticsquid said he updated the character limit to 120,000 but it seems he might have made a mistake or something, so if he doesn't respond today I might have to update it tomorrow.
Also, this thread is apparently the most viewed individual page on the forums (besides the index page) and it got 2,500,000 views in the past month.

Can I request you make this topic without all the pictures displayed (hide them somehow, or just use links)? Because as it is, I have had to use a lot of computer trickery to even get my browser to load the text of this topic (it just stops loading anything past the banner normally when I try to load the first post; any of the other pages do fine).

Do you guys think I should move the Mods, Tools, and Maps sections down into a 2nd post or keep it all in one list?



Regarding the adfly thing I'm planning on doing, seeing how new packs are added every week, and those first packs get the most views, I'm thinking about first pming the first group of people, including other popular packs, and every week I'll PM the first few people who are added to the list, so you'll make less than other people seeing how you'll be up for 3, 2, and 1 weeks compared to 4 weeks. (you'll still make a good amount of money though)

If anyone else wants to join in on this PLEASE PM ME.
I'm not guaranteeing you'll make much money though, but the more the merrier

There's a new version of the patcher. The one your using doesn't work for 1.5_01
