you dont get this issue if you run the game in complete vanilla? no mods or textures?

It is on 1.4_01, I always make sure it is always up to date.
When vanilla I ahve no problems at all, and I can still use 16x texture packs. The problem begins when I use higher resolutions.
(Dunno if I am doing something wrong posting responses so quickly, but I am not double posting or flooding (or am I?!) so I think it's ok, right?)

EDIT: WHOA!! Hold it! I just restarted the game a few times, and the wolves seem to be working, for now at least.

Ok guys, I just finished updating the Mods section, so go check that out if you're in search of a mod. I've removed all the old and dead ones and added a lot of newer ones and almost all of them now have a screenshot to go along with. I'll do the Tools and Maps section next week.

I also pmed a mod about removing that guy's quote, but he hasn't been online yet, so just wait till tomorrow I guess.
