im having graphical issues despite useing optimine (not saying its a bad mod just saying it does not work for me) and i was wondering if a low rez texture pack might help or if their is an other mod i could try to increase my FPS?

different things work for different people/systems honestly..there are a lot of factors due to the games programming. Like me...I have a fairly beefy system and run high end games like crysis flawlessly on ultra..whereas minecraft, no matter what resolution pack I use I'm lucky if I hit 80fps with all of the optimization i have done. java is the culprit as it is a major resource hog.
so..if you are on a 64 bit system I would advise upgrading to 64bit java. even on a 32 bit system i would check the LB photo realism op for a tut on increasing the memory allocated to java. also try turning down the render distance or play on fast graphics and adjust the a-a settings in the video options.

thank you for the suggestions but im allready runnning it at the lowestist settings available and im still getting only 7-25 FPS the only way i can get that up is if i change the render distance to tiny but that makes it hard to play the game. as for the java suggestion i do have the current java however i did hear that java 7 (as the person called it) helps with running minecraft can anyone conferm this and if so where may i download said version of java. sorry for any spelling errors

I already told you that some of those textures aren't yours. Here's a complete list of all the textures that I found to not be yours:
-The glowstone
-The cactus
-The gravel
-The rail
-The bricks
-The wheat
-The tree trunks
-The bookcase
-The pumpkin
And I'm sure a few of the other ones aren't yours either, like the cobble, window, ore blocks, and ores.
Seeing how there's a new version of minecraft on its way in a week I won't bother to update the list to see which are compatible with 1.4 yet. I'll also update the mod section to include Maps and Tools.
I just realised the first version of my texture pack (its current a 95% complete terrain.png, the GUI, art and icons, but im adding more to it. also my lava, water, wheat and dmg texture are not mine theyre just there as place holders until i finish my versions). so if you could add it to you list itd be much appreciated, heres the info for it

I wouldn't post it either considering you have tried to lie about what is original and not give credit to other people who's textures you are using. YES I have seen your thread..and you give Misa credit for only ONE of her textures you use in the terrain. (not to mention the other peoples)
I think since english is obviously not your main language you need to look up the definition of ORIGINAL.
good luck ever gettng your pack posted here now by the way..I would just stop trying.
Hey fellas.
I'm having a problem with HD Texture Packs and the Wolves. Anytime I try to use a HD Texture Pack, I Patch it with MCPatcher, and no errors occur, but, when I enter the game, the wolves all sit, and they won't stand up. Right clicking doesn't work. Giving food/bones doesn't work. Even hitting them won't work. The only way I could fix it was installing minecraft all over again.
Anyone else havig this issue? Can anyone help me fix it? I would really like to use some of the HD texture packs here...
Anyways I will try to stick to 16x texture packs for now.
Thanks.

do you have the most up to date mcpatcher? if not that could be an issue other wise i cant think of any reason why even an out of date texture pack would cause such an issue with wolves. if the pack doesnt have a texture for wolves then the game would just use the original texture. any ways it shouldnt be the texture pack its either the patcher or some other unknown or unstated factor.

Yeah... and what would be the latest? I have 1.1.12_02 installed (it's the one that every texture pack link redirect me to, and it sure seems to be the latest).
And yet, if it isn't the patcher that is breaking my wolves, then I don't know what is. I don't use any mods...
Edit: Also, I just tried this one: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531, and it didn't work.

i use that one that you linked and i dont have any issues with it. is you MC updated to 1.4_01? i heard that some people had issues that possibly broke wolves here and there with 1.4 so make sure you have 1.4_01
you dont get this issue if you run the game in complete vanilla? no mods or textures?

In which of their videos? Lewis uses a custom Gerudoku pack for the Israphel videos and Jolicraft for his other videos.

It was a city from the server Age of Mining. Not sure if they still have that map.
