Is the OP gonna get updated?

Yea....no matter what I do I can never get a texture pack into Minecraft. I've checked youtube and forums help with no success. I can get a zipped folder and an unzipped folder into the Minecraft texture pack folder an Im not getting the option to use any of the packs I have tried to install please help.

OK, finally updated the thread, and I'm happy to say that there's over 100 working texture packs on it
Sorry if I missed any textures btw, but I'm a bit busy with sports and school, so I'll probably only updated in the weekend from now on.
If anyone wants to help me with posting screenshots for mods, please don't hesitated to pm me or post here :c

E: Btw, clicking "Beta Textures", "Beta Mods", and "Classic Textures" will actually bring you directly to those sections. No need to scroll down anymore. I'm having some trouble making a list to organize the OP, but I'll figure it out.

Hey Lilyo, you seem to have updated the texture pack list, but didn't include my submission in it. Any reason why? Thanks.

I would think that a good way to do such a list would also be to list how many pixels things are. (I thought I had a good computer, but i lag on a 128p, and I like 16p since it is fastest)

I was wondering the same thing about mine. But just scrolling through the list it seems alot of packs were missed though, so its not just a few packs that arent on there.

If your texture pack was not added to the list, it might be because one of the following reasons

[*:ielvf422]It was a mix/ compilation/ customized version of someone else's pack.
[*:ielvf422]A lot of the textures were not your own.
[*:ielvf422] It was an edit of a previously made texture pack
(note that taking the original version and removing all the detail to create a simple pack is still using someone else's work)
[*:ielvf422] It didn't have much effort put into it
(I understand we're not all artists, and I feel bad saying this, but I can't add everyone's texture unless it shows some effort/ skill/ determination)
[*:ielvf422] It wasn't completely finished
[*:ielvf422] I overlooked it by mistake

Here's a few that I didn't add with an explanation of why. Some might have already been addressed. If I've misjudged something, make sure to pm me.

I have contacted tombones and he says that I can use and distribute his original textures as I please in this texture pack. Most of it is the original, but as it was discontinued, the only textures that have been changed from the original are the new blocks.

ok so when i drag the extracted files(winrar) from the tex pack and drag them to the minecraft jar file they transfer but when i pull up minecrfat after it dosnt load and when i go to play"in browser" the screen is black. but when i force update on the launcher it gets rid of the files i put in th minecraft jar some plz help
