Creepers only explode because they want to hug you, but when they reach you, they realize they have no arms, and then explode with anger.
Alright, update the list. Next week, I'll start removing packs that are no longer up to date.
Also for packs such as MoonMax's that just update an older version of a pack, a link will be added next to the old pack (check the thread to see what I mean. Just Ctrl+F and type flak)

I just downloaded the Ancient Egyptian texture pack, the HD Overhaul pack, the clean design pack and the bordercraft texturepack, and had placed them in the texture pack folder. then, I clicked on the HD pack, and minecraft crashed with this message: --- BEGIN ERROR REPORT a1dce528 --------

The point of this is to give people a Default template..
So they can start there own Texturepack
It includes no edits and is compatable with the latest version of minecraft..
Yeahhhhh... no lol. First of all, the author would be Notch, not you, not to mention that there's already a terrain file in the Notes section, and if they can't even figure out how to find the actual textures, then they probably shouldn't be making textures.
no :sad.gif: go to their pages (download threads) to see which ones are . (most 16x16 are up to date, again most don't work properly with wildgrass mod they have to be edited to add in the wildgrass textures into the terrain.png)

I don't really think adding 100 simple texture pack to the list is that good of an idea. I understand that they're easy packs for beginners to make and all, but it's really getting pretty frustrating. And I'm just talking about the ones that take all the blocks and like make them all into 1 color with an outline, or just erase all the details on a block and leave 1 solid color. I understand that a lot of people like these packs and that they all obviously differ from one another but having these many packs kinda limits the popularity if each individual pack, so instead of one pack getting like 100 users the people just get split up amongst the many packs, making each of them die out quicker.
Should I make a small subsection for simple packs? I feel as though if you like one of them, you'd obviously also like the other so that way you would have an easier time choosing.
Or am i just making a big deal out of nothing?
i was feeling the same way. a solution would be to group the packs by categories instead of by resolution and putting the huge “simple packs” section at the end.
