Haha a good idea but I was thinking more along the lines for this texture pack.
What would you expect water to look like in a futuristic robotic world?
Lava ideas are welcome too.
I have got this all working and it now looks perfect. Obviously this doesn't cover ALL the textures in alpha, that is what I'm working on now.
Currently just finished the Nether (I'm really proud of this one), Still debating on what I did with lightstone.
If you have any ideas on water + lava that would be great.
Ladders looked a little lacking in this (At least I think they were ladders... they were in the spot where the ladder texture is..) So I've spiced them up.
I'm currently working on the progress bar, it looks excellent but I'm having trouble making it look right.
Any tips are always welcome. (The health and armour bar was actually made by me, I didn't manage to get hold of the one seen in his images)
As soon as I'm satisfied with most of the textures I'll make a video showing them off.
Anyway stay tuned and ALL suggestions are welcome =]
Here is a video of me showing my Beta version of this.
As soon as I finished making this I went ahead and changed the textures of pickaxes, axes and hoe's, also altered the coal/iron/gold etc to make them look better and not just messed up (sorry cheap shot! But it was needed)
Also updated item icons to look like their block counterparts (doors for example)
This is a texture pack that transforms minecraft from medieval to futuristic. Almost everything has been redone and updated. Everyone likes robots and shooting lazers, right?
-Added health and armor bars
-Revamped tools (buzz saw, drill hammer, etc)
-Changed flint and steel to Zippo, string to bolts, feathers to fuel
-Changed bow/arrows to blaster/lazers.
-Changed digging progress cracks to loading bar.
-Redid TNT, as I forgot it was in indev.
