INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS!!! Get the MC patcher
Put the ZIP file (DO NOT UNZIP IT) into the Minecraft texture pack folder. This can be found in your .minecraft folder in 'application data' for your user.
Patch minecraft at 64x64
Log in and select it from the texture packs list.
Did you ask them personally if you could redistribute their work in a texture pack?
I highly doubt you did.
I make no commercial gain from what I have made, this is simply a collection of my favorite work + some of my own work.
I wanted a pack that I would like and so I made one based on my preferences. There is original material and the work of those I have sampled has been referenced!

You did not get permission to use other artist's art.
So let me get this straight, you can download and use another artists work, but you cant make a, for lack of a better word, "remix" based on your favorites and your own work?
I have tried a lot of packs and I have enjoyed a lot of different features from different packs and so combined my favorites generally for my own use. I post it here and acknowledge those whom I have referenced with no desire to cash in on their work.

I fail to see how there is an issue.
If you write an essay, you annotate a bibliography. You never have to ask the author if you can use their work, but you must always state that you have else be guilty of plagiarism. I have given reference (arguably, links should be included and I will add those) and should not need to expressly ask for something freely given to use.
If I had to pay for said packs on the other hand, that is a different story.
The packs you have used to create this have a license that state to not redistribute without permission or to not to redistribute at all.
This is stolen work. A mod should remove this thread.
