Welcome to my first attempt at creating a texture pack. I’m not personally a very artistic person, and this was originally created as a simple fix to make my Minecraft look better. I’ve been working to make the game look more refined for a while because, while the game looks good from base, it needs help with some of the textures. As I said, I’m not overly artistic and I found that some of the current texture packs I have used have some very nice elements. I found the best combination that I could think of that I liked and put it all together as this texture pack. All used elements are credited below. This is a SD texture pack, so it does not require the HD fix that would normally be needed by most of the included elements. Thanks for reading and have a great day.
1.7 News- Hooray, I've finally fixed some of the issues that came with the 1.7 update! If you didn't know about these issues, the cake and bed both were missing their bottoms due to a change that Notch made to the terrain.png. In fixing these issues, I decided to tweak some things with the pack. I've made changes that are pretty minute, but also make the pack look better. I have included a change to the glass that makes it less stark but keeps with the grey outline, and have darkened the glowstone's texture to give it more of a detailed surface (hopefully making it look a little different from the iron block). Another change that was made was the bed "sheet" color, going from the stark red to a less harsh grey. The final change was to the art file. I was browsing Reddit's /r/minecraft and noticed a post that caught my eye- someone had created a kz (art file) that used concept art from Guild Wars 2. I like the look of the pictures in the game and decided that they would make a nice change; the original art that comes from Básico will be included as a separate download.
