hey guys
u know that mac problem that when u download the texture pack and put it in the folder its black and white and doesn't work... well i found a way that solves it so if this helps u leave a comment... this is also guaranteed to fix it.
get the texture pack open it, highlight everything in the folder and compress now copy all the things in the folder and place them in the texture packs folder... and your done...how simple was that :wink.gif:
edit: its gonna help and it will do the job so dont think im wasting your time
You really irritate me. Can you please stay on one thought at a time? EVERYBODY knows that you have to place the .zip in the texture packs folder, most texture packs have that in the instructions, but I suppose that you don't like to read, do you?
The guides explain all that in clearer and better typed English as opposed to whatever it is your using.
Half the reason people are treating you like some kind of idiot is the way you are writing your posts makes you look illiterate. This isn't some kind of race, take the time to actually write out your posts clearly and people will stop acting like you are a grade school dropout.
Just some friendly advice from your local neighborhood fool.
As for your suggestion, that is sound. Minecraft expects the files to be in the exact same places in the .zip as they are in the .jar. Putting a folder at the top of the .zip is the most common error people make and selecting all the files in a folder instead of the folder itself when zipping is the way to avoid that.
See how much easier to read that was?

Gee thanks I didnt notice except for your ridiculous bumping
By the way, thats like saying your minecraftlauncher must be .exe. Its common knowledge and totally required for the texturepacks to be .zip.
yes, you need to zip it up. WE ALL KNOW.
