X-Ray Machine v1.02

This is one of many X-ray texture packs for Minecraft. I did this in photoshop, so the paint job is alot better.

This handy-dandy texture pack can help you do all of the following:

Help you find diamonds
Help you find iron
Help you find coal
Help you find gold

Start mining.

New Feature!


Look at the block that is before you. You notice a different colored rectangle going around- why, this is the new feature!

Red rectangle = Sand
Brown rectangle = Stone
Black rectangle = Gravel

Lapis lazuli remains untouched.... for now.

v1.01: Project started

v1.02: All ore designs got a complete overhaul and are now better than before. Redstone, instead of the original, is now completely red.

v1.03: From a suggestion, it is now easier to figure out what kind of block you are looking at by the rectangle around it.

I'm sure there are lots others like this, and I had the idea to do the same thing, but this saves me the time of having to make it myself.

idea: put a small label so that you can differentiate stone from dirt from gravel (different tools needed to mine those)
Otherwise it's a nice X-ray pack.

how do i download this

Didn't work for me. i put it in the texture pack folder and selected it and i go into the game and its the default texture pack...

XD You justslapped the terrain into a .zip! What you need to do is find a download for the default texture pack and edit it, then put the edit in a .zip. Otherwise the .jar can't load it.

Haha, what? Making texture packs?
Do you know what it takes to make a texture pack? It take time. It takes effort. It takes skill.
It DOESN'T take five minutes with an eraser tool.
This isn't a texture pack. This is nothing.
