Hmm, that looks strange, but i don't think the crash was caused by the resource pack or the script, maybe try posting about the problem in the Java Edition Support section?
Oh, and the next time you post a crash log, put it inside a spoiler section.
does it have to do with Minecraft itself, and not the resourcepack? in the pack I changed splash texts, some item names in us.lang, a few textures, some sounds, some lightmap and customsky stuff for Optifine, and that's pretty much it.

Yeah, because it doesn't mention nothing about texture, just about the mouseClicked event, but now you said that it has sounds, try disabling them by renaming "sounds.json" to ".sounds.json"

I deleted both the sounds AND the models file, and it works! None of my block or item textures work, but my chest textures work. My changed item names and death messages don't work either.
EDIT: I got the death messages and item names to work by copying the 1.13 lang file and changing the stuff I wanted to, but I can't change my block textures, I already changed the block names to match the 1.13 files, but it still doesn't work.

Is the blocks/items texture folder named "blocks" and "items"? if yes, try renaming them to "block" and "item", if that doesn't work, disable the blockstates, maybe that's why.
It has been some days, and the 2.0.0 release went good, anyways, ResourcePackPorter 2.0.1 is out!
Here's the changelog:
+ The script now makes empty texture folders if there's none, preventing the script from failing. * Changed the plus signal to an underscore in the zip name. * Fixed Wet Farmland not being ported. - Removed the alternative ways.
Just keeps spamming me with the error message "No such file or directory" for each conversion. I use a Mac, and I placed the script in the correct location... Have any idea why this is happening?

Hello, sorry if the shell script is not working, i forgot to rename the "%rpp_x%" part to "${rpp_x}".
Anyways, a fix to this will be made quickly.
Can I transport it to Mcbbs(The most popular Miecraft forum in China)?
I will indicate original author
Hello, feel free to post it there! It would be good if more people could port their resource packs with more ease!

No, you need to port them manually, but this script can help you to port the rest of the textures.

And ResourcePackPorter 2.0.2 is out!
Here's the changelog:
* Fixed the Shell script version not renaming stuff properly and not pausing.
* Updated the FAQ.
It's a minor update, but it's a good one for macOS and Linux users.

Can I get someone to convert my texture pack? ive been trying to but its confusing. I do use altering textures.
This is really useful! I could have wasted hours renaming them individually.
Thanks, this worked like a charm!

Hi,
How do you run this?
I tried chmod +x and running it from Terminal, but no effect.
I also tried just double clicking it, and that didn't work either.
Also, does it need to be in the folder of the pack you want to convert, or the folder called resourcepacks?
Are you able to create a 1.13 to 1.12 version?
The newest Java Beta textures are out but they're for 1.13 only and I play on 1.12 still
Thanks for this! Just a note that texture packs converted using this seem to work for 1.14 as well, in case anyone wants to use it for that purpose.
