It's a java application which allows you to extract and save sounds and translations from minecraft hash files.
Q: Is this application free?
A: Yes, it's completly free. I don't need any donations too (but you can help me another way that described below).
Q: How do I install this application?
A: Just download .jar file and run it with Java Virtual Machine.
Q: What these application system requriments are?
A: I am sure that it will run on any calculator computer with at least 100mb RAM and installed Java.
Q: Can I lose my data when using this application?
A: You can only overwrite your files if you selected them, nothing else.
Q: Where can I found Minecraft hash files?
A: If you are on Windows, requried folder will be automatically choosed when you click "Select..." button.
Then you need to choose it's version.
If this directory doesn't open, you will have to choose it manually:
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/assets/indexes
WARNING: objects folder is supposed to be in parent directory of minecraft hash index file.
Note this if you are going to move this file.
Q: How can I help to develop this application?
A: I think it's no need of adding new functionality, but you can help me to improve it's stability.
Just post error window screenshot, like this:
And describe what were you doing when this window appeared.
But if you think that your idea is pretty good and necessary, you are free to suggest it via replying this thread.
