This is a JSON text editor for Minecraft. It generates /tellraw commands, which can be used by command blocks to add pretty colors, interactive links, and other cool stuff to chat messages. It is especially useful for maps, where you can use it to make tutorials, shops, and even interactive NPCs.
This editor, unlike others I've seen, has a what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) interface. That means you can see and modify your command (almost) as it will appear in chat. It allows you to add colors, styling, links, hover elements, and entity scores to the resulting chat message.
Congrats making it to the front page! I've been curious if something like this existed, and now I know. This ought to be handy for tinkering with maps.

Nice! I've been using this https://www.minecraftjson.com, which is pretty much the same thing, also a wysiwyg, but has a cleaner interface and allows exporting/importing commands. Add some features and clean it up and I'm sure it'll eventually be a rival to the original.
Thanks everybody! I'll definitely work on making it better.
horsewithnoname,
For some reason it always worked in my browser (Safari). The problem should be fixed now, though. Also, I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it, so I haven't fixed the multiple tag problem yet. I'll be working on it soon.
Lightwavers,
I saw that site before I made this. It has more of a preview than a real WYSIWYG editor, so I decided to make this. I'm still working on it, so I'll try to add import/export options when I get around to it.

'ooo, I like this.
I always mess up between m, n and o. I'll be using this a lot.

Figured it was time for a change.

I love how you put the Gospel of Christ on your website!

I added the code you posted, so it should work now. Also, the resizing issue only shows up when the web inspector is opened (at least for me).
