Someone should learn how to use a computer
1. Open the .zip file, you'll see a directory.
2. Drag that directory and drop it into the desktop (or wherever you prefer)
3. Open that directory and double click myGame.jar file
Basically you will need to have a directory which contains "mygame.jar" and another directory called "libs".
Yeah, I have everything just like that. I double clicked mygame.jar and it just showed me more files. Do you have the full version of WinRAR? Apparently that has "full .zip and .rar support."
Cool, a Minecraft Model editor that works on Linux. Now I can model for mods witouth having to use a ram-eating, resource heavy Windows virtual machine and witouth constantly copying files from the VM to my computer and back.

It will really save me from a lot of hassle.
We are happy to see that a Linux user is happy with the portability of the MCAnimator
Be ready for the upcoming 1st official release!
Video tutorial please! Show me what yours has that mine doesn't!
.jar files must be open by Java. If your computer doesn't do that automatically:
- Right click on myGame.jar file
- Select "Open with" and choose "Java(TM) platform SE binary".
If you don't see that option, you will need to click "Open with" and "Choose program..." and select Java.
Anyway for the official releases we will create a .exe file for Windows users which will be a lot more user-friendly
Every time I try to open the jar file, it gives me a blank window. I tried moving the folder to the desktop and nothing changed. I'm using a Mac OSX, Vers. 10.7.5, running Lion.
Nice! gonna test this out for the Aether 2 Development! ill send you some feedback C:
Wonderful, we love your mod guys Tip: don't start doing serious models with the prerelease, because we have already changed how the Axis (XYZ) work in the upcoming release, so your models would be messed up. But you can obviously start working on the models on Techne and then importing them in the upcoming release!

I'm not sure, what is a retina screen? It's a macbook pro, so laptop?
"it refers to a device screen with a high enough pixel density that the human eye can't make out individual pixels - or a general 'pixellation' effect - at all. In other words, the human eye is scientifically incapable of telling the difference between a photo of a painting shown on a Retina display, and the painting itself - in theory, anyway. Retina displays are proprietary to Apple"
Basically this high-resolution screen gives problems with applications very often. We are going to fix the MCAnimator in order to let you use it

Very few days for the first release, depending from the number of bugs we'll find during debugging
