It happens in both Model & Animation tabs, not sure about Texture tab.
SS would be useless, but here's the model I noticed this problem on: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qyv1cymzbd37j8w/testmodel.mca
The upper part seems to have bounding box sized [1,1,1], the lower one, same as each other I create, is OK.
I am not able to reproduce this error. Though it persists on the model I posted. Maybe you can do some debug.
Really cannot reproduce this bug. Your project is fine for us as both the boxes can be selected correctly (boundingbox is perfect, I selected them using the tree menu). Do you have Java7 working fine? (stupid question, but had to do it )
Oh, I've basically meant that the block displays just fine, but you can select it by right clicking only the top part of it (like collision OBB would be sized [1,1,1])
Oh yeah, we see it now. Weird problem, seems sometimes the very firsy block cannot be selected right-clicking. We will do the necessary checks and fixes
Not yet, sorry. What's the problem? How did you run the program? Please explain every step you did
1. Downloaded the program.
2. Unzipped the .zip
3. Right clicked mygame.jar and opened the program.
4. Allowed running the program.
5. White window pops up.
Also, whenever I resize the screen the Jar freezes.

Running Java 7 update 67.
OK thanks for the report. Last question is: did you unzipped the whole directory inside the .zip file? .jar file needs to be with the "libs" directory, otherwise it won't work

Yes, I did.
I decided to try running the Jar in terminal, and here's what it spat out:

It does nothing after that.
Also, I tried running my Mac with RDM, but no dice with that.
Apparently Swing had problems with Retina screens, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case any more.

Wonderful infos, thanks! So, the console doesn't print any exception or warning and Retina screens should work fine with swing now (they fixed the bug last year?). From the white screen thing, seems more like a threads lock causing the application to freeze.
The last thing you could try is to expand the memory for Java
ok, this is literately amazing! its rare to have a free modeling program so your the best! also, how do you make a model? he he... cause i don't really know how.. I'm dumb :3
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
-coughtchoo- Cough and a sneeze at the same time. Don't question it. I'm allergic to pretty much everything. And the saddest of all, penicillin. RIP me. If you have any questions don't hesitate to message me! Somehow.. I don't really know how Minecraft Forums works.. Oh well.

We have just released a prerelease to show you how the things works into the MCA, without any documentation.
But don't worry, we are going to create an official website and tons of tutorials for creating/editing/animating your models with this software

Do you plan on a tutorial on how to integrate your generated .jar files to replace a model/animation into a minecraft mod ? Or is this out of the scope of what you want to achieve ? Building blocks, items and recipes seems to be well documented, but making custom models and associated animations are a little harder to come by in the modding community, especially with a solution like yours.
For amateur mod developers, I can tell you what I would find most useful ?
- The source code for an extremely simplistic forge mod.
- This mod adds a mob inheriting from the zombie/pig entity
- This mob uses the model that was exported from MCAnimator
- This mob uses an idle animation exported from MCAnimator (walking animation)
- This mob, every so many ticks, plays a an explicitly called animation exported from MCAnimator (sneeze/waving animation)
- This mod adds a spawn egg to create the critter !
A barebones example like this demonstrates how to use your models, how to set a walking animation and, if possible, how to play other explicit animations on demand. Another possible tutorial might be how to replace a block or tile entity (say derived from a chest) with a new model exported by MCAnimator.
Thank you so much for the support ! If there's something the community can do to help you with your tool (like testing features, leaving feedback, making tutorials, etc ) we'd be happy to help !

We are going to create an official website with a wiki for the MCA which will be full of useful tutorials.
The MCAnimator will export your model+animations in .java files, so you'll be able to put them directly into your mod code and edit them if you want to change something manually.
We will also create a simple working mod which will use some MCA models to show you how the code should look like
We'll try to let users write some tutorials, so if you want to help, we will be really happy!
How do I start it up? I put MCAnimator Alpha prerelease 01.zip in my desktop, double clicked it, and it just showed me the file in WinRAR. What am I supposed to get? I know I have Java 7, I checked.
Edit: Wait, .jar file? MyGame.jar? I just tried that too, same results.

Move the MCAnimator Alpha prerelease 01 folder to the desktop. Open the folder on the desktop and run the MyGame.jar
Note: This is not a promotion or anything I want just want to let you know that I have created something that might offer more functionality (as of now) but is missing out on the standalone program part and I am ready to talk about a possible exchange of ideas.
Hello WorldSEnder. It seems you have created some useful libraries to import models and animations from Blender. Even if this is not the main aim of the MCAnimator, it seems an awesome idea and could be very useful for many expert modelers. Send us a PM whenever you want or tell us your skype so we may talk!

this software is great!:D when do you think we can export are models to java? i know its not done but i would like to know a estimated time.
Thanks, it depends on how many bugs we will find. We basically have to finish the exporter, fix some bugs into the GUI and be sure that the results in Minecraft are the same of what you did in the MCAnimator
Someone should learn how to use a computer
1. Open the .zip file, you'll see a directory.
2. Drag that directory and drop it into the desktop (or wherever you prefer)
3. Open that directory and double click myGame.jar file
Basically you will need to have a directory which contains "mygame.jar" and another directory called "libs".

but still no dice.
We will send you a test version asap to get more info about the situation
