This will make making my modpack so much easier rather than my old method (Make new profile, change directory, insert mods within a zip folder into there). I hope I can at least use this to create my modpack.

Hey guys, for all of you who have been waiting for an update, I've been really busy with school and haven't gotten around to it. However, due to complications with making the installer cross platform and not being able to get OpenGL to work correctly with C++, I'm am re-coding the project with Java. Now for the questions I haven't answered for decades that I'm sure you all want answered.
I'm very sorry I never responded to your comment. I'm planning to make a jar version as I'm switching to Java for cross platform support and I might add 1.6.4 support for those who feel nostalgic. Once I finish the jar version, I plan to have it for mac and linux. One problem that I've encountered however is I do not own a mac, so I can't test a mac version if I were to make one.
Hey guys. Holy crap it's been a while. After a year or so I finally decided to start working on this again and have some good news. The GUI version is almost ready for release and I've updated the old command prompt installer to work a bit better. Planning to post the new command prompt installer later today and the GUI version some time this week. Here's some screenshots of the new and improved GUI version.
Now to answer some questions I should have answered a long time ago.
I tried running the installer, but it doesn't work for my 32 bit system. Is there any way to fix this?
Considering how long ago I last released my modpack installer, I don't remember how I compiled it. I might have accidentally compiled the program for 64 bit operating systems. However, I'm releasing an update for the command prompt installer later today, so I'll be sure to compile it for 32 bit.
i am making a modpack for 1.7.10 but, acording to reddit you don't need to resolve id block/item only id's and mobs. so does this cover id's and mobs because, most mob id's an't in the configs
My modpack installer doesn't handle item or mob ids. Those are handled in the mods themselves. My modpack installer does however (if it doesn't already it'll be added later today) copy config files, so you can edit the ids in your mod's config files if it supports it.
Hey guys. I've been having some issues editing my post with the forum editor, so I won't be able to post the link until tomorrow. The 1.7.10 version has been updated and can be found under all downloads for now until I can edit the post. The 1.8 version will be out tomorrow, and the GUI version later this week. Take care guys, and if you're reading this, thanks for still checking out my modpack creator after a year of inactivity.
