This works and all but, This isn't what i really need because I can't re-texture mobs, inventories, or make animated textures. The only thing i can do is change blocks and items. Please make an update that lets me do this stuff. If this is already possible, then someone tell the idiot (me) how to do that with this.

I checked inside the folder, and the files were playing, but in-game music was nonexistent, as well as records. Any idea what happened?

Probably because the sound file you put in can't be played by Minecraft. You need to convert them to ogg format

Does not work, but I'm sure outdated programs do come with bugs and all that...I have installed Tao and stuff, but I keep getting the "Application has stopped working" message when the program extracts the MC jar.

I have a new job and lots of creative projects to work on so I can't dedicate any more time to this, and I feel I have done what I can for this project. So I am officially shutting down development on this mod. I will also be releasing the source code so people can pick up where I left off. Thanks for supporting Minecraft Texture Studio

Probably because the sound file you put in can't be played by Minecraft. You need to convert them to ogg format

Curse PremiumIt requires .NET (read a Windows only thing), porting to mac would mean a complete re-write.
In the meantime have a look at https://www.winehq.org/, a project that lets you run some windows apps on mac, not sure about this one though...
