Could it just be compatible?
I'm not sure if you're able to import blender files to other software. The rig should support any NON 1.8 skin, but you'll need to do some edits to the skin such as erase the eyes/mouth and make the skin's skin all one color.

Hey i love the rig and giving it out for free is amazing! I have one thing tho when i insert my skin from Image > Replace Image and i remove eyes and mouth and all its all fuzzy i upped the render and preview up to 100 and that removes all the grit but its all blurry and yes i did the thing with bit maps but its just when i add my own custom skin? Please help cause i love the rig just i really need my custom skin on it! Thanks! Also if u need a image of it i can give u it!
Yeah, could I see an image of your problem please? I'll see what I can do to help.
P.S the default skin works fine its just when i import my own skins. also do u have skype if so could u add me please i have a bit to ask u
The cause of the blurryness is from interpolation in the texture, the default skin is likely resized to a higher resolution (2000x1000) to give the illusion of pixelized texture. The rig I made uses a node group called Pixelator which removes the blurry minecraft textures, if you add that to your rig, it should fix it.
Thanks Man! Ive fixxed now btw 2 more questions what rigs do u use for your mobs and where do u get your items that u import and the last thing how do u group like a pickaxe to a person
No, you don't group objects together, you parent them

also, do you know how i could add a bow to this rig? that would be really helpful
1. Open a new file and append the rig.
2. Parenting
Thanks!

if you search your IGN at this site: http://mcskinsearch.com/
You'll be able to download your skin and use it for the rig.
Am I able to move down the mouth? my skins beard is in the way XD
If you grab all the mouth bones and move them down, that should do the trick, but that beard may cause some texture issues.
it sure did XD odd shadowing lol
No, don't! It's a trap!
-Added different flavors to the rig
-Added 1.8 skin support
By different flavors I mean there's a new "Faceless" type for those who want a simple rig to start out with, this includes both skin layouts.
Enjoy!
Why hello there! Good (Morning, afternoon, or evening)!
You gotta add a skin to the rig, go to the top right window and click "Image" > "Replace Image" then find a skin file to use.
Note: if you're using one of the 1.8 converted skins, they can ONLY use the 1.8 skins, same goes for the old skin layout

And thanks, I'm glad you like the rig so much!

There's a link to a video on how to install a node group in the topic
