Calling all Map-Makers! ZapCloud Studios presents their very first download through the form of an MCEdit Filter!
Description:
The following filter eliminates all need for any light sources within the game. By simply selecting an area in MCEdit and applying the filter, you can set the selection to any light level or reset it to its original value!

Hats are off to the first person to make a video about the filter!
If you do, please send it our way! [[email protected]]
This is brilliant! I was actually just recently wondering if it was possible to trick the game into fake lighting a section of the world, and it looks like you've already discovered how!
AMAZING! I did a video (spanish) and it would mean the world to me if you added it in your post!

Well just don't claim the filter to be your own. Other than that, credit would be nice if you use it in a map, but it's up to you!
That's what you seem to be doing. This filter is a trivial modification of my LightingBug filter. I don't particularly care if people take and modify my filters, but it would be nice if they didn't try to profit off of it and claim it as their own work.

Apologies for the mishap texel, we were unaware our programmer ripped off your filter and the download has been removed

666 post, I'm Mark of the Beast.
Bravo, btw, it's perfect.
As Garbla said though, we absolutely would need more options for selecting certain areas.
Will test later!
