Dashboard replaces much of the manual editing of configuration files and console commands with a pretty graphical interface to get your game server up and running in no time.
Already have an existing home server?
Dashboard does not replace your actual server, it is just a management tool - so it won't interfere if you're current set up or world data. Just drop the app into the folder holding your current server files!
The Dashboard project is open source, and is licensed under the GNU GPL version 2 or later. (for developers, the GitHub repo can be found in the links below)
Features: Kick start your server - From downloading the server files down to finding your IP address to share with friends - Dashboard has you covered. Backups Flexible Intuitive - Forget typing in those commands into the console. We've replaced the major commands with nice buttons for you to click on instead. (Of course, the console is still there when you need it) World Profiles - Play in one world, and switch to another in a matter of clicks (requires a server restart to take effect).
It could be good for creating the program for linux if you add remote
(some server computers use linux) so players can have 24/7 whit the program
Yes, I use linux too (Go linux!), but the aim of Minecraft Server Dashboard, is to help new server hosters in administering the servers. There are much better wrappers out there. This was just a little project to pass my time
