Practical applications for this tool:
- Mac and Linux users can now use models created by other users and hosted on the Techne Online repository as this tool does not require the use of Techne to convert to a Java file
- Completely sets up a proper class file for use in mods, just properly name the package in the file and reference it from your entity renderer.
- Download any model hosted on the Techne Online repository
- Download both the model and texture in one convenient place
Look of the home screen. 'Open Techne Repository' button opens to http://techne.zeux.me/, the Techne Online repository. Browse opens the file location selector which allows you to choose where to place and what to name the '.java' file. The texture file will be placed in the same directory as the '.java' file.
This file location selector allows you to browse to where you would like to place the file.
Image of the downloaded model file and its texture.
Image of some of the automatically generated code. The only thing that needs to be edited is the package needs to be set to the correct path.
The download is available here in the form of a '.jar' file. It will link you through an adf.ly to Mediafire to download the '.jar' file.
