How do you make the blocks move along a grid? (Like for me, the blocks move smoothly but I have seen YT videos where when they press G to move the block, it moves exactly one block length at a time, making it a whole lot easier to build a scene with.) thanks!
This is an awesome rig! Are the flying arrows out yet, though? And I have a problem where I can only move things one block. For example, I take Steve's straight leg, and move it a pixel, it jumps all the way forward, which is helpful when making a set, but not when animating characters.
This rig is awesome! Thanks for all your hard work!
Things to add maybe?
Blocks_Rig:
Swappable wool textures for the banner for all the different base colors, maybe eventually add the patterns and logos.
Acacia Leaves
Dark Oak Leaves
Double Tallgrass
Large Fern
Damage states on the Anvil
The other Fences
Gates
Glass; Red, White, Yellow, Pink, Purple
Glass Panes, or maybe just a way to hide the majority of the full block to make it into a pane?
Item_Rig:
Water Bottle
The various potion textures
Spawn/Monster Eggs (I know there's a generic one already in there)
Some of the basic firework stars?
Mob_Rig:
Magma Cube
Witch
Zombie Pigman
Cave Spider
Mooshroom
Cat (Tamed versions)
Dog (Tamed)
Killer Bunny
Chicken Jockey
Spider Jockey
I'm sure you've thought about all these already
I know very little about Blender so far and maybe there's an easy way to swap textures or something that I haven't figured out yet. If so, feel free to point me in the right direction. And thanks again!
As for glass panes have you tried just flattening the glass to a pane? i don't use this rig but i see no reason why it shouldn't work and as for the jockeys why not just grab the mobs and make them sit on the Chickens and spiders?
How do I add the headwear for the simple character rig?
Also for the Advanced rig is there a way to change were the eyes are? my skin has eyes that isn't where the model's eyes are and when I render it it looks like he has two eyes, also I need to hide the mouth, he doesn't have a mouth either.
Hi there, I'm going to create a mod where I'll need miniature static models of Minecraft mobs. Not wanting to create them from scratch in Blender (I'm just not good enough for that yet) I was looking for existing ones and I found this. Would I be allowed to start from your models and edit them to fit within my mod and then use them like that?

Does the character rig work for 1.8 skins? If it does what settings do I need to toggle to make it work?
go here https://rymdnisse.net/downloads/minecraft-blender-rig/faq.html then look for 1.8 skin section
How do I append another minecraft character rig into my animation. When I try to append another one, it says there is no library for it.
if your running cycles it is the best looking in blender as for 3d you have to edit the skin and stuff
As for glass panes have you tried just flattening the glass to a pane? i don't use this rig but i see no reason why it shouldn't work and as for the jockeys why not just grab the mobs and make them sit on the Chickens and spiders?

If you still work on this rig i really hope you update it for 1.8 skins and for 1.9 mobs!! great rig by the way
Does this support 4-pixel eyes?
I love this rig its awesome, but is there any way that I can change the skin? I tried everything but I cant get it to replace image.
I know, but can it do this skin without having a one pixel eye or only half of the eye moving?
There should be a hat box inside the head. Scale it

It may be a little late for this, but is there any way to make it the character can talk?
Nevermind I figured it about
