This simple application written in java decodes the login credentials stored in the file named "lastlogin" in your minecraft folder. It DOES NOT hack your account or share these credientials in any way!
Screenshot of the application in Windows 8
Features:
Easy-to-use interface
Supported on Windows, OSX and most linux or unix systems
You can change your minecraft folder (useful if you use tekkit or custom launchers)
HOW TO USE:
Download and run the application
Press the decode button. Your username and password will appear in the User and Pass fields
If you use another .minecraft folder, press the "Change .minecraft folder" Button and enter the name of your custom minecraft folder without the dot and press OK for example if you are using the Technic launcher, type in techniclauncher.
NOTICE: This program only works if you checked the "Remember Password" button on you Launcher!!
Update: 1.6's new Launcher and encryption system does not store the password on your computer anymore! Instead, you just store an authentication token the file "launcher_profiles.json" in your .minecraft folder. This sadly renders this program useless when using the new launcher. It's called
public String guessPasswordFromSillyOldFormat(File file)
if you are interested. Thanks to everyone who used (and might still use) this program!
Great idea by the way, although I can see it being used to jack people's lastlogin files.

Blessings in Minecraft usually come in the from of creepers behind the nearest door. Rest assured, I was not behind that. No, seriously, I won't open any doors on that. Pun intended.
It does not connect to anywhere, but if someone wanted, they could take my source and modify it to steal your lastlogin credentials, which wouldnt be nice! This program is intended for if you forgot your password but you have it stored by the launcher or for educative purposes.

How Do I Use This It Just Gives Me Com And Manifest
Did you open the Jar with WInRAR or another Zipping program? You need to open this with Java. If you are using windows, you should set Jars to open by default with Java (sloppily made with snipping tool):
Note: on my Computer, I have multiple versions of Java installed and Java is already set as default. It might look a little different on your PC

Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick!
We are what we eat and we are who we meet. These are not mutually exclusive.

Your welcome!
A little more system specs please? OS, Java version, how you ran it etc.
Are you using 1.6? As I warned it might not work anymore with 1.6. I'll have to reprogram it sometime
