This filter allows you to give enchantments to any weapon, tool, or armor through mcedit.
To install, put the modifyEnchatments2.py file into the filters folder in mcedit.
To use the tool, select a chest that has and item that has no enchantments, set the number of enchantments you wish to give it, which ones, and their levels.
Note: Do not use on already enchanted armor, it will add an "enchantment.protection.level.0" to it. I'm note responsible for any damage this could cause.
As previously mentioned, the python script you uploaded has stopped working as is. Luckily, the only thing required to get it working again was a ridiculously easy fix. I haven't written in python before, but I have experience in other programming languages, and when something is telling you it needs an integer... it needs an integer. The problem came from trying to pass the enchantment (not enchatment...) id as a string, instead of an integer. So I went to the top of the script where you defined the various enchantments, and their id's and stripped the "s from around the #'s so they would be recognized as integers, instead of strings.
Here's a link to the update .py file if anyone is interested. To the original developer, thank you SO much for your work, as I said before, I have little to no knowledge of python, so I definitely couldn't have put this together. I hope I'm not stepping on toes by providing a link to a slightly modified (only difference is enchantment id's are now integers, not strings) version that works.
Also, I'd just like to put this out here, because It wasn't immediately clear to me:
The enchantment level is what you would see in-game, not some back-end value. So if you want Efficiency V, you would choose Efficiency, and set it to level 5.
