So I made this new ore that spawns in the Nether... I checked off the "Generate in Nether" sign and also set the chunk frequency to the highest, as well as the spawn points to be broad as possible (0-256). BUT IT IS NOT SPAWNING!!! Please help!
Apart from a few minor issues when adding custom AI properties to a new mob, this is a really useful tool.
As well as helping make my own mods quickly and easily, it's helping me learn Java again.

I just downloaded the latest version of this for minecraft 1.5.2 and I can't create a sprite table, which is really annoying because that's how you start to create a mod, please help! I have a Windows

In this version of MCreator, you don't have to make a sprite map, you can just start making a texture right away

You dont need to create sprite tables anymore. You just go to the create item menu then load a texture you made and save it
Okay tried making refined coal mod but it's doesn't like when I put the burn time in millions of ticks. Is there a workaround to this? cause I know it's possible to do that but idk how to do that another way. Another thing you state you Can make machines but how? I want to have my collection of furnaces that have like multiple inputs and outputs, reduced smelting time, and fuel reduction. Is it possible to make liquids too? cause I would like to make liquid byproducts of refining your coal. Finally how would I make my new fuels compatible with say IC2 generators and RC boilers? So that if you have any or both of those mods my fuels would be useful in harnessing more power from coal beyond coal coke.
THIS THING IS A GLITCHY UNCOOPERATIVE PIECE OF CRAP!! HERE'S WHY:
When I made mobs, I get a crash that says "world tick problem" or something.
Every time I need help, I hit the question mark button, but instead of going to the specific thing I need help with, it BRINGS ME TO THE MAIN PAGE OF THE GOD DAMN WIKI!
It says you don't need coding knowledge, but most times when there's a problem, it thinks you're a coding expert.
The installation is .
Most things like luminance, etc., is NOT something people know for a living!! (I also hit the question mark next to it, but, again, IT BRINGS ME TO THE WIKI.)
Overall, someone better make an ACTUAL mod maker, or fix the hell out of this thing.

I will fix wiki problems. Also, for automatic error fixeing, program would need to have AR and this isn't realy possible yet. If you get errors, report them and I will try to fix them with next update

You can't make machines yet. Liquids not yet aswell but they will be added soon and same goes for machines. And the last thing... I'm not sure.. try it... if is't not working -> no
I was having installation probs. The prob was an error with the coding and this is how I fixed it. I redownloaded MCP and I did not extract it. And then I drag and dropped the MCP to Mcreator and it worked for me:) I had to do it through chrome not Firefox as Kaspersky blocked it in Firefox and I couldn't access the zip file. I hope this helps if anyone else is trying that long list of fixes and none of them work.
Good to know. Also, don't worry: MCreator isn't virus
New snapshot is out! [1.2.4 for minecraft 1.5.2] Go on mcreator.pylo.si to check more!
What is it? MCreator is program for modding minecraft without programing knowedge. It's simple to learn and use. With mcreator you can customize your minecraft as you wish. After creating new mod you can show it to world by uploading it to MCreator's community.
What you can do with it?
You can make new: blocks, items, mobs, food, potions, biomes, ores, tools, armor, (machines) and much more!
Okay so that why it's in those ()? And great that this will eventually do both of what I want. But man I wished there were an easy way for mods like IC2 and RC to "accept" my fuels. (who's know they may auto "accept" and use the furnace burn values for energy units/heat units calculations.) Will do a quick mod to test this and idk what's up with the thing not liking millions of tick burning. I could probably do that in the code myself to "force" that.
Hey Pylo! Im back. I finally got my own Laptop. ANyways. I got 40k views on my installation tutorials and i keep getting messages about errors. SO. i made a updated one with my voice. ill have it uploaded soon. Good to be back.

I'm just gonna number them by the paragraphs
1. It's in beta and being updated, fixed etc
2. Number 1
3. You don't need coding knowledge to create the mods but with errors the program isn't smart enough to be able to find and fix the errors so you send the error to the creator and he checks out the problem for you.
4. I don't even know what . means
5. Number 1, if you don't know what something means go to Google and type "define: [word]" -EDIT- when clicking the question mark it opens up a side window showing you what luminance is?
6. Technically this is an actual mod maker as it creates mods and there are some other mod makers out there i think, and it's in beta so it is being fixed and updated anyway

Not yet
Add new mob and select squid for model
Try with smaller hardness and don't select is unbreakable
You dont need to create sprite tables anymore. You just go to the create item menu then load a texture you made and save it
