I don't want to sound like a noob when I ask this, but how do you make saplings that will grow into trees at about the same rate as normal Minecraft trees, and have their leaves ALWAYS drop fruit (around 2-3 fruits per leaf block)?
It's a lengthy question, I know, but I just needed to ask.
MCreator developer team is announcing the biggest MCreators update in the history - MCreator 1.5! This update fixes almost all the bugs of the MCreator, adds a lot of new things like global variables, global events, and adds a lot of improvements like better event system with tokes and much more! Hit read more to see what was added and don't forget to grab your copy of MCreator 1.5!
It is hard to explain everything that was changed so the best thing is to look at some screenshots and read the changelog posted below. Or even better, just download and use it! ;). Well, first things first, here are some screenshots:
Main interface of MCreator has dramaticaly changed. We have moved workspace managment to the place where Dropbox importing - exporting was before. Now, Dropbox is workspace and gets syced with each boot of MCreator. Buttons were resized, we have removed Wiki and Exit buttons and replaced them with social media buttons + wiki button. Toolbar of MCreator was changed aswell. Here you can change mode of MCreator, do stuff you was able even before and now, here you also see if you have synced MCreator with Pylo account.
One of the important things that were added are global variables. Now, you can define custom variables and use them across your mods. This enabled tons of possibilities.
With global variables, global event were added too! These events are not located in any mod type but directly on the My workspace page. You can see some of them on the picture.
Another thing to mention is improved event system. A lot of bugs were fixed and now events are even more powerful. Token system was improved along with new conditions and global variable support. GUI creation can now display global variables and this opens a brand new world of thing that can be done - interractive GUIs!!!
To sum up, this is the changelog of things that were added in MCreator 1.5.0 update:
Improved workspace managment
Improved Dropbox synchronization
Improved main interface of MCreator
Improved recompilation errors report dialog - now it lists problematics mods and adds option to safely remove them
Added import/export workspace progress dialog
Added EULA agreement window to the start server button
Moved resource importing from Resources tab into actual wizzards of mod types
Added simple mode BETA - when you switch MCreator to the simple mode, it removes all advanced stuff from its interface
Improved events on mobs
Made a lot of small improvements
Merged block and txblock into one mod type - block (txblocks from old workspaces will be automaticaly transfered into block modtype)
Added support for global variables
Implemented advanced token system for events and GUIs
Improved tokens, variables and other input fields in add event dialog
Added conditioned particle spawning for blocks based on logical global variable
Added 17 global events
Added new conditions for variables and condition has player in hand
Added Pylo account synchronization - when you sync your accounts you get two additional workspaces
Variables and tokens can be show in the GUI text field
And list of fixed bugs:
Fixed Minecraft test server crashing bug even if nothing was added
Fixed AI tasks causing recompilation errors (you need to remake AI if updating workspace)
Fixed consume inventory item event result causing recompilaiton errors (you need to remake this event result if updating workspace)
Fixed food and gun smelting recipe causing recompilation errors
Fixed comparator in recipes causing recompilation errors
Fixed some bugs with events on mobs
Armor items are now listed in recipe creation so you can add enchantments to them
Fixed bug with crashing Minecraft when arrow shoot event was not caused by Player
Fixed saving bug for mobs which caused events to duplicate in some cases
Fixed SMP problems with armor and mobs; now armor doesn't crash server
Fixed bugs with events on basic GUI when checking players inventory or manipulating with it
Fixed NUM tokens on textfields used on i, j or k coordinate causing recompilation errors
Fixed block bug which cause recompilation errors if you had particles and random update event selected on the same block
Fixed some bugs related to the conditions
Fixed bug with block event update tick not working
A lot of minor bugfixes

Excuse me, but I cannot get my custom block to render like a glass pane. I selected in the render type, but it continues to render the block like an upside-down piston head. Why?

Detail: I use MCREATOR 1.5.0
I made a small mod to test, with only one block and one item on it, and went to see if it would work. Choked export, but gave an error. Help me! Have you tried putting in java and rar, but gives the same error. This is the full error:

EDIT: Whenever I create a mod (block, item, achievement, fluid, etc.) gives this error. I saw a few other places that there is a "reobf" MCREATOR inside the folder, but in my there is no folder, only the folders forge, jdk, lib, res, other, user and workspace. Sometimes the error also appears when I'm doing anything like putting a texture, when creating a mod, etc.
In the armor creator portion of the mod, what does editing the Damage Value portion of the armor change? I know the stat above changes the armor value and damage reduction, but this section has four numbers (I assume one for each piece). What does this represent?

The amount of armor points (the little shields) each piece gives. Chestplates give 8 points for diamond, or four shields. Full diamond gives twenty.
Excuse me, Pylo, but the pane render type does not work as expected, it looks like an upside down piston head. Also, the piston render type causes my mod to crash in the dev environment with the error "ClassCastException: Cannot cast x to blockredstonerepeater".
There's a problem. THE TEXTURE SELECTOR WON'T WORK FOR ME!!!!! I have tried for hours to find a solution. If I try to choose an item texture, it will not open the window.

"No, Patrick, mayonaisse is not an instrument.
