Its a false positive, the program is safe. What antivirus are you using by the way?
I am using the ZoneAlarm Firewall, and it seems to have updated to be an antivirus..
And, even if i say this .exe if safe, it keeps on putting it in Quarantine everytimes i try to start it.
Will i need to shut my Antivirus Off when i want to make a mod? XD
EDIT: Ok well, finally, Even if i put in my Exceptions list, I put it trusted and all.. Still take it as a Virus and i can't use it. So i guess i'll just learn how to code if i want to make a mod....

Scan the jar file and see if that is safe. If so just run that instead of the exe.
You know that you just created the best mod maker in the Minecraft history, right? Of course I have some ideas:
- spawning eggs for mobs,
- new item type: a sapling (so you can load your 'schematic' file that would be generated if you click the 'sapling' item while holding a bone meal),
- new mob type: a golem (so you can choose a special combination of blocks that would spawn this mob),
- new block type: a liquid,
- rare drops for mobs,
- simple achievements
- new block type: a furnace (so you can choose the fuel and unique recipes for this block),
- new mob type: utility (they would attack hostile mobs),
- new mob type: tamable (so you can choose with which item you can tame them),
- new block type: a cake!
Hope you take a look at this post
P.S. Sorry if my english is bad, I'm Polish ( ._.)
How can i open a mod to edit it?
i want to edit one of my mods
1.manually install it in a fresh minecraft.jar and make sure modloader is 1st.
2. de-compile with MCP.
3.edit mod.
4.re-compile and reobfuscate with MCP.
5. open the reobf folder then inside that open the Minecraft folder, your edited mod files should be there.
This all ideas stuff is getting too much i think we need some page where it has a list of every idea of what to put in the mod maker and have like a thumbs up box and that way Linkseyi will know what most of us want.
Everytime i make an item it won't let me change the ID so I started over and when I started over it kept the IDs at 201. Pretty much what im saying is are the IDs supposed to be kept at 150 to 255?
instead of blocking people from posting their mods on the forums, add a sub-category for the mod-maker mods.
also, if you want to push this farther, add a feature in the mod maker that'll make an empty file named modmade [hidden], which then could be seen by MinecraftForums, and would be automatically placed in the sub-category :3

not exactly. This is just a feature that makes it easier to be compatible with other mods, which tend to use the numbers 100 to 150. So this is just a compatibility feature. [Here's another idea: add a checkmark that, when unclicked, will warn you that it may make other mods incompatible.]
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If you need any help with any computer issues, check my website for contact information. I also do Minecraft Mods... well basic ones, I can make blocks that do specific things. I've also dabbed into making Plugins... like before, simple plugins

Actually a while back I PM'd Linkseyi with a suggestion of starting up a special 'Linkseyi MOD showcase thread' on here,
If he agreed, then I was also going to PM a moderator to make sure we weren't going to be doing anything wrong with using their services to 'host' the Mod's - & if everything went according to plan there would've been a single thread for MinecraftFourm members to post links to their (working) LMM Mod's - And so not flood the main forum....
(I had even sent a 'demo' post to Linkseyi for his approval)
The post would've had a set of rules which EVERYONE had to follow though, along with a link back to this thread for 'bug/suggestion' posts
- We (the OP &/or linkseyi) wouldn't be able to moderate the post but we could always PM the person if they had broke the rules & to alter their post accordingly, otherwise they would be 'reported' but unfortunately, Linkseyi had already started setting up the Reddit post - so the idea was dismissed
I made a mob a killer of me so i tried to generate it according to the offical tut and i just watched the mob making and i get this twice when i try to generate

THe disclaimer only does efect here right?
cause here, there are no mods made with it posted, that means people readed the disclaimer, just cant say the same about other website like planet minecraft :\
Yeah I realize that there are some on Planet Minecraft.
Thanks Dude, I was looking for it. But I have a question: is there a limit for mods or new created items?
There is a sprite maximum that will make the mods crash past 40 or so blocks (likewise for items), and if two mods have conflicting ID's they won't work. Keep in mind that if you shift ids, your recipes might change. (Working on fixing that.)

HELP!!!
I think that this happens in certain file locations. Try going to your desktop.
Do you know how to set an item to function ? I made an item that is supposed to spawn a mob I created . But I don't know how to do any of this ! PLEASE HELP !!!
Minecraft works but I didn't put it on auto generate. How do I find my block? I have modloader (I'm pretty sure it's working) Please help me!
(Lost the banner on accident)
When I 'helped' out someone else with an ore MOD - I use 'findercompass' mod to find their block...
you can set this up (altering the config file) to 'look' for the ID number of most blocks - so you could set it up for the ID used in your block & it'll point towards it
You have to be 'near' the block (distance is adjustable) but it should help find it if you're near any of them
Alternativily, you could use an Xray MOD that allows you to select which blocks to show/hide - & hide everything but your block
I absolutely love this tool and I wish I'd found it sooner so I could make simple things for my friends and I.
However, I've noticed one thing! There seems to be a couple of missing blocks in the list. Namely the Chiselled Stone Brick and the other two Sandstones (Smooth and Chiselled). Was this intentional or is it just an oversight?
It says that it won't clean the minecraftdotjar folder. In the folder it it only shows linksey's and inside of that the pictures I added for the tools and blocks

Some of us do - but I guess not everyone here wants to sign up to something else just to post a suggestion/bug etc when a thread already exists
