I already "played" with this Console Client on my Windows PC for a few days. Now I tried to get it running on my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.
I did everything just as it the Instructions say, but when I try "mono MinecraftClient.exe MyMinecraftName.ini" it runs until "Connecting to Minecraft.net..."
Then it crashes and returns to normal bash. No Error, no Debug Messages with debug messages on.
I'm struggling to launch the console client. I have downloaded the client and have opened the README.txt. I have then run the command "mozroots --import --ask-remove" in the terminal outside of the folder. It also says "open a terminal in this folder and run "mono MinecraftClient.exe". The README terninal I open doesn't allow to me type any commands and the MinecraftClient.ini won't open becuase I don't have the programme to run it. I have also tried to search on the app store for the programme to run it but I still have no luck as I have only downloaded "Open Any Files: RAR" but that doesn't seem to work.
Please can someone help me out.
(If you also know of a video of how to install it on MAC, please can you link it)
Server version : Paper 1.12.2 (protocol v340).
Cannot connect to the server : This version is not supported !
So I can't find any information/documentation on server versions that are or aren't supported. Am I to understand certain servers cannot be joined?
(Thank you for the project. Been using it for years.)
The project only cares about the protocol version; the server version itself does not matter (it's just a text description of the protocol version, which custom servers modify to identify themselves). Make sure you're using a version of MCC that supports 1.12.2, and everything should work.
