Is this program actually helpful in any way?
I put a pair of golden boots in the enchantment table slot, translated the top of the 3 avail enchantments' Galactic text using this program, and what it gives me is: "free fresh twist ixside"
Does this give me any hint as to what enchantment the boots will get if I choose this one?
The words written in Standard Galactic Alphabet have absolutely no meaning nor any relationship to the enchantment given. They're randomly selected from a list of words.
klenpolevoy's program can also be used for a number of different games where the Standard Galactic Alphabet is used, especially in Commander Keen series.

It's the ears, right?

This isn't useful at all. The letters and words displayed are not at all related to what enchantment you will get.
Enchantment names are randomly constructed from the following list of words. Three to five words are chosen from the list and appended to each other, then displayed in the Standard Galactic Alphabet. Note that the names have no meaning and are not saved on the enchanted item (meaning they will tell you nothing about what the resulting spell will be), and they are only displayed in the Enchantment Table interface.
It's not awesome as it don't do anything. You can do the same thing by saving the image below as this program does.
although such is pointless. It DOES NOT translate what enchantment you will get.

The following list of words contain all the possible enchantment words after deciphering.

a.k.a for example, you find one set of words, say "bless curse" and it gives you strike 1, you can find the same set of words again and it could give you feather falling instead. Roughly you can have the SAME set of words picked for -every- enchantment and it wouldn't mean a thing. The words picked are RANDOM and have -nothing what so ever- to do with what chant you will get.
Do you mean the enchantment table language? That's the Standard Galactic Alphabet.
