Oh dear! It appears I messed up in LauncherCraft's Portable LauncherMode. It is fixed now. I apologize for those wondering what in the world was going on.

PS: Can we get some feedback? Without user feedback, good or bad, we won't have any motivation to make our programs better!

Dont know why noones replying.. anyways I would be interested in both, can you explain to me how the portable one works? does it tell minecraft to download and run from here when you use a certain launcher exe? I have a program that requires 2 minecrafts open at once.. and it would be awesome to be able to seperately mod one with the splitscreen mod launched via launchercraft..

The portable one has a dirty little secret: it uses a .bat file with Hidden Attributes, so users don't see it.
Two lines of code run it all:
set APPDATA=%CD%\LauncherData\appdata
Launcher\Minecraft.exe
.
The problem was, and still is, that it only seems to work when you run the batch file directly, but gives a painful "could not find the file specified" when clicking the Portable button. All LauncherCraft does is use a simple Process.Start(Directory.GetCurrentDirectory() + "\\app\\portable.bat") line of code. I'm still working on this issue.
Wait a minute...
I need an answer from someone who has used LauncherCraft:
Does the portable LauncherMode work as-is? I'm beginning to think it's my laptop messing it up, I don't have the latest Java.

I have a personal project i've been working on, it allows you to create "profiles" for both client and server jars, each with variables such as different install locations, usernames/passwords (if you have multiple accounts), different memory allocations, backup locations, ect. And launch them accordingly, it's almost done and if we dont end up working on it you can be sure i'll have it done soon.
Ah yes, I fixed LauncherCraft finally. It seems my Java is corrupt and seemed to work upon re-installing Java. Remove your old LauncherCraft before downloading!Enjoy! Do tell me if it still refuses to work. I will have to come up with some sort of alternate solution.

Just added a new update to MCProfiles, the application should be much more usable now. Still with that being said, expect bugs, especially with the server tab. And as always report any bugs/crashes you experience in this thread or via PM.
Also if you find that MCProfiles doesn't detect your jar version (Shows as "Unknown") please run this small tool and post the results here so i can add the jar to the database.
