Okay. Lately, I've felt that the launcher is a little too cluttered. I'm pretty sure I'm going to rebuild the interface. However, since I'm not the only one using it, I'd like to ask for any opinions on how the interface should be changed, improved, or rebuilt. This unfortunately will delay the next release, but I hope to have a much faster, responsive, easier, and more intuitive interface ready by then.
You know how long it took me to find a launcher like this....most are just "change your minecraft.jat" not entirely seperate minecraft folders and since some mods use the mods folder from modloader the .jar 1s SUCK but this is AMAZING Keep working hard...and i think the launcher is modtly fine....maybe the buttons should blend a little better(with the original launchers color scheme) but other then that good job.
Hello! I would like to report a bug of sorts whereby some mods look for their config files / resources in the original .minecraft folder despite being in the .minecraftMULTI sub-folders. Three mods I know did this are the Aether, Equivalent Exchange, and Mo' Creatures. In addition to that, playing with mods seems to be extra buggy and more likely to crash than when using Mojang's launcher. The Aether mod was the worst for this (though it's compatible with exactly ****, lol).
I've never run into a problem with aether. It's possible that I might be able to fix the folder issue given the exact nature of the problem. If you could tell me exactly what resources are being used from the original. Also, send me your log file after running a mod with the specific bug. Thanks!
I feel really stupid asking this, but how do you run the launcher? All I have downloaded is a .rar file. Is there a way to change it to an application, or make it .exe or something? I have actually been wanting something like this for a while... Never imagined that it existed though... So keep it up!
EDIT: Figured it out! You should put in the op that if it is downloaded as a .rar or something, you have to run it with java.
Ok so on one of my .jars i installed a texture pack called shpaxcpurebdcraft. Then i needed to delete it so i did and now EVERY bin launched from the launcher has the texture pack and now i want it off! i redownloaded it and everything! plz help!
I found something out, It doesn't work with indev or infdev. But it's really good and I like it. But it works in alpha and up. Also It works with the PC Gamer demo.
1. Why doesn't it use my 64-bit Java? - Vanilla launcher does.
2. (Could be related to 1) My modded .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar crashes (black screens) with your launcher but runs fine with Vanilla launcher.

Meanwhile, please post your requests and ideas!
For You Sir.
Good job

My biggest suggestion would be a check for updates (to the launcher) button, or an option to sync saves.
Otherwise keep it going
Two things:
