I'm new to unmined, after having been on a couple of other mapping solutions for a few years and only discovering this now (sorry!).
Ideally, I'd like to use this headless, however, this has systematically failed:
% /Applications/uNmINeD.app/Contents/MacOS/unmined-cli web render --world="~/Server/minecraft/world" --output="~/Server/html/unmined"
zsh: killed /Applications/uNmINeD.app/Contents/MacOS/unmined-cli web render
This doesn't appear to generate a log, and I couldn't find how to generate one either (do you have some kind of --verbose option?).
Note than besides a headless minecraft server, nothing runs on my Mac Mini M1 (8GB).
And yes, I checked I had downloaded the ARM version.
So I thought I'd plug a monitor to it and try the GUI version. Authorised it, according to doc, no problem there.
That one opened, let me choose the level.dat, pick a couple options about how to display water and what chunks to show, and a greyed out checkbox to keep same settings next time. I validated these choices and the app crashed instantly with a rather long error log (which I have kept, in case you'd want it).
I must have missed something obvious, but not sure what. Would you mind helping me with this, please?
I’ve tried those, the problem is that they don’t come up with anything from the UUID from the player list that comes up on Unmined. Thank you for taking the time to comment though 🙂
also grass_block is rendering as a white block while grass is rendering as a green?
I'm using 0.19.33
Also it could be a nice feature in the GUI version to output the CLI arguments to copy and paste, I found it difficult to get all the arguments in the correct syntax.
Does the site even work? I've tried three different browsers and unable to download any files from this page: Downloads – uNmINeD
Seems to work OK for me, I just downloaded the latest version. Are you clicking one of the green boxes under desktop application? It did take a few seconds to start up but downloaded fine, ran the program and that worked fine as well. Also be sure your browser or antivirus is not blocking it.
The screenshots in Post #1 are fake. This program does not show caves. the cave screenshot is a fake screenshot
This program is useless. It does not show caves. The website talks about a “cave mode”. It doesn’t exist. I built a home in a cave and now I cannot locate it. I had the coords in Excel but MS Excel reverted the document to an earlier state. and now I cannot find it
again.

Very useless
It works fine for me you need to run through the options and setup some filters to view caves. There is also an xray mode that enables you to view caves and ores in a similar fashion.
I updated from 0.19.17 to 0.19.41 and now when I render to a webpage my renders have grids on them, and I don't have grids selected in the program. Is there a way to not get them on my renders? Feel like I'm missing something, but I'm also not doing anything different than before. Thanks
anyone able to help me in regards to getting create mod's blocks to show up on the map render? most if not all create blocks are rendered as white or pink and my creative server uses a lot of create blocks
Love the program. Having an issue with blank blocks rendering when exporting to webpage. Any suggestions appreciated. Using windows 11, GUI version 0.19.47-dev. have tried traveling to those chuncks in the world. to make sure they are loaded. Chunks do not render in the program itself either. link to the current map. https://breakingbedrock.github.io/smp/map/index.html

Bedrock does not save chunks that are not modified. You can use a pregenerator addon to generate the missing chunks (this will increase the size of the saved game data): https://github.com/bsavage81/bedrock-world-generator

apologies if this has been discussed already
Colors for modded blocks can be added manually, see config/custom.blockstyles.txt

Thank you for your help. This is the change I needed. Running this does load all blocks for bedrock. Thank you again

In a bedrock map, is there a way to convert the user ID to a username to find out which player is which?
I love it ,so useful and easy to use ^^
Are these any use to you?

I don't know if what you asked is possible but looking usernames and id's up is one way.

Well is the official website inaccessable today?
Hey, great software. using it on my Minecraft for my boys and their friends here in New Zealand
I'm not having much luck web rendering the nether, i cant seem to get anything other than grey blocks.
this is my line
unmined-cli web render -f --dimension=nether --topY=61 --players --log-level=debug --zoomin=3 --zoomout=2 --background=#000000 --world="/home/jamie/minecraftbe/samben2/worlds/Mysterious Sinkhole" --output="/var/www/html/nether"

It took me a bit of searching, use the GUI version and go into the players info and use the MsaId code
It may be trail and error to figure out who is who though.
I found and named them by their PlayerLevel score

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.

It doesn't start for me unMiNed. Windows 10. GUI.
Life would be easier if you asked before calling someone a liar.
1. Open the slicer toolbar
2. Click on X-Ray
3. Click on "Hide above"
4. Select an Y
5. Wow, caves!

Hello, thank you for reporting this issue.
Next release will have two settings for this:
1. Hide the grid by default (visitors can turn it on for themselves)
2. Disable the grid completely
