Finally found some diamonds! Decided to not mine the whole lot in one go, went with 1 stack instead, then died on the way home and couldn't find my way back!!! Nightmare. Anyway, looking for redstone now so I can get my alchemy on.
Wanted to report that my Nether is also broken, I appeared on a platform in the middle of space and could just make out land in the distance.
After you look out the Nether thing, PLEASE remake the option available, and maybe Lapis Lazulis, Gravel in the Overworld, SugarCane on DirtPlanet with a lake in the middle, and it would be nice to have island with the water/lava bottom, with a bottom at 10 maybe, for the foggy thing

If you can't, don't post the damn km-long thing.
It is REALLY annoying for everybody.
If the nether was working, there should actually be Lapis planets in it. It still looks correct on maps for me... I'll have to actually play it again and make a portal I guess
And I could plug this into the dungeon adventure generator easily enough, but it would really have to be a "final" world. There isn't much of a way to put a dungeon into one of these maps, unless I go back to not using the full height.
I may try and take a look at this tomorrow, but I can't make promises at this point.
That's fine Seibai - it's only a suggestion. I was thinking the Dungeon Adventure generator could be a way to showcase multiple generators. It need not be linear either - you could have a grid of generated lands and several portals through the nether to other areas.

Most trips to the Nether are just crashing my game, no error message or 'saving chunks' screen just a straight freeze so think I'll just avoid going there for now.
Just generated a 128 length lava world, 2000 seconds (30min) not bad.
Just updated both downloads with a new version. Latest version has the following changes:
1. Map is centered on the origin so that when you go to the nether you don't end up inside the "moat" around the world, but instead on a nether planetoid somewhere.
2. Updated the core engine to grab correct path separators for the current OS. That should make this runnable on a Mac is you use Mono.
Could you please make a mac version for this???? or a .zip or something please! thanks!!!
Try using Mono (http://www.mono-project.com/Mono:OSX). I don't have a Mac, so I can't test that, but it should work now. If not, let me know what happens and I can try and fix it.
Do you have any expierince with modding or java? Because I think that this as a mod could use the new map generater selecter feature to easily switch between normal maps and planitoids in-game. If your not willing to do it, I could try if I had some source code to base it off of.
okay i played your old map generator before so when i saw this i had to try it. now, i must sound like an idiot but when i generate a map i can't find where the generator puts it. can someone help me?

It puts it in the same folder where the .exe is. Whererver you run the .exe is where the map goes.
hey i think it would be realy cool if you could run into dungeon planetoids that are stone and then a dungeon in the middle with a low chance of spawning. also having a very very small chance of finding a stronghold with a portal to the end would be awsome

There is gravel, I found some not long ago. Is there no chance of finding sugar cane is there? I could do with some paper for maps...
