Okay I have a game ruining bug, so when a spectator leaves the server and then joins back instead of going to spawn he is still in the arena and is changed to a regular survival player and they can kill non tributes.
I haven't been able to recreate this. Can you give me any more details
Good news! You'll never run out of ideas due to all the Hunger Games fans out there! For the list of servers, add whether the're cracked, you need to sign up etc.
This works okay, but sometimes the items won't spawn ontop of the bedrock blocks in the beginning. Also, some players become invisible and stay that way even if they aren't a gamemaker. This problem requires a server restart to fix.
Nice Plugin always wanted to make one of these servers. Although since im a noob at the Hunger Games, can you put what each thing means next to each command etc... for example Tribute - What does it mean on this plugin??? I havnt tried the plugin yet but if I where to put it working Automatically would i still need a Spectator/Mod??? Meaning if not would it auto teleport people to the *Respawn point (Death Zone thingy)?* plus does the map auto restart??? Please reply
Maraver,
Hey I am working with your plugin to make a Hunger Games server. The plugin is great, although most of my players always run out upon preparing the game, and die instantly. It really is a bother. I've downloaded the source code for 1.3.2, and I'm intending to mod it to replace the exploding pressure plates with fences. I have not used Java ever before, but I have had quite a bit of experience with C++. I thought maybe I could scour your code, look for anything that looks like it might have to do with creating and dealing with the pressure plates, google the crap out of the Bukkit API and Java, and get it working to my satisfaction. Sadly thats not how this is working out. I've looked through each of the files included in the source from top to bottom looking for anything that seems like it would deal with those pressure plates. Nothing I could understand. So if you could please provide me with information (or atleast point me in the right direction) on how to go about having the plugin generate fences rather than pressure plates that are destroyed at the games start, that would be fantastic.
Also I'm also guessing you have some experience with Eclipse, so how would I go about creating the project into an executable .JAR file to be used as the final product inside of Bukkit?
Thank you for atleast taking the time to read this, and for taking the time to program this great mod and release the source code free of charge.
Regards~

Don't worry I was as lost as you when I started this plugin
Find
private synchronized void restartGame()
And change all
Material.STONE_PLATE
to
Material.FENCE
Tada! To export it in eclipse right click on the blue project folder and choose
Export
Under the Java folder JAR file
Make sure everything in the right listbox is check

If you use normal notepad to edit the config.yml file it may become corrupted, try using http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

Look in the console for something to do with [The Hunger Games]. Most likely a problem in the config.yml, such as the X and Z coordinates being too close to the spawn.
Great mod! I have a few simple ideas that I hope wouldn't be too hard to implement
1. Enable/disable spectators giving items
2. Enable/disable mining in the arena
3. Map cycling, would cycle through multiple arenas if you had more than 1.
4. Auto-start after config-able amount reached.
5. Option to hide playernames.
6. Possibly an option to not place chests but fill already created chests? So that you could choose where loot would be?
is there a way to save the buildings you make in the arena from disapearing? i would like to build ruin's building to hide chests in but it keeps reverting back to its original way when the arena was made. anyway to have the building stay in after a restart for a new match?
same here no items given on winning
1.3.4 - quick release to fix this bug
I haven't been able to recreate this. Can you give me any more details
Have you tired using /games-end? That seems to solve some issues
