This looks interesting ...I currently use 'Magic Launcher' but may give this a try...
One thing though, although I did a search of the thread, is that I can't see any mention of, or for, support for different texture packs per configuration. I'd like to have a configuration for 'Default', 'Snapshot' and 'Redstone' that each use a different texture pack for various reasons
> 'Default' would contain my current up-to-date version of Minecraft, with all the MODs I would usually use plus the HD texture pack I like to play in
> 'Snapshot' would be a 'blank' configuration that has no MODs added and use the default texture pack (since HD texture packs & MODs take a little while to get updated when a snapshot comes out)
> 'Redstone' would contain MODs specifically for ease of redstone construction & a 'Plain Clean' texture pack
Any chance of adding such a feature to this ?? or does it already contain such a thing ??
Hi this is my favorite launcher by far!
A few things
Firstly Im using you latest build
-I included this im my custom Linux Mint Based Distro Is that OK?
-Theres a bug were I cant see the the display options, I think its to do with GTK3
-How do I enable username offline?
-How do I enable demo mode with myself having a preimium membership already? (I just want the chalenge) and if not could you include that feature?
-What can I help with in your source?
This launcher is kind of crap. Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong lol.
Magic Launcher causes crashes. Even with Vanilla Minecraft. This launcher does not, so it has that going for it...but what is this misleading "configurations" crap? Are you seriously telling me I can't save the configs and simply choose one each time I start the launcher? Furthermore, do I seriously have to have THREE SEPARATE .minecraft appdata folders for 3 profiles?
Right now, seems like a joke, but as I said I could be doing it wrong.
This, but phrased as less of a ****.
It would be great if you could switch addon sets upon switching configs. Maybe even associate a config with an account.
I have been using this launcher for a while, and it's great, but i have a problem. When I tried to open the launcher, I got this error:
Verification of the identity of the authentication server failed. You may need to update the launcher, or someone has attmpted to steal your credentials.
I tried updating the launcher, but it didn't help.
Can someone help me with this? I really want to keep on using this launcher!
It has something to do with the Certificate update they did this morning. Sit tight, my friend. It'll get fixed soon.

Hakiu's are easy, but sometimes they don't make sense.
Refrigerator.
A quick fix, all I did was update the client certificate.
2 Things to be aware of;
1: this was compiled from the 3.1.6-SNAPSHOT avalible on the github repo.
2: the update mechanism is not working for me, I do not know if it is also due to the ssl update, mojang's servers, or a bug in this launcher version.
other than that, it launches minecraft with my mods as per the profile, so it should work for anyone.
THIS IS UNOFFICIAL, this was a quick fix by me, and should be considered a stop-gap fix untill an official update is released.
I encorage anyone who uses this fix, to get the official update when it is released.
Alright, so now that this new version is out - anyone out there with JarBundler experience that would care to throw this into a .app for us Mac users?
I can use the .jar as is but it's somewhat unsupported compared to the .app I used to use (3.1.5). I tried taking a look into JarBundler but I'm afraid I don't really know much about what I'm doing with Java. I've made a post on reddit asking if anyone's got any ideas, but if anyone beats reddit to the punch, would you be able to PM me a DL link to a .app, or give me a step-by-step on how to do this?

Please make an exe dev version so I can have a quick launch Icon on windows 7. I suppose for now I could create a .bat to open the jar file, but having an exe download is just more convenient.

Use Maven, netbeans supports it natively really well and Eclipse does an ok job. Just import maven project.

It downloads in rar format for me. I can extract it to a .zip, but double clicking on that only opens the .zip.
