I've looked through all the posts and couldn't find any information on the URL feature. I see this as a great option for my niece as she loves to play minecraft but installing mods is beyond her capabilities. I end up using Team Viewer to remote control and install them for her.
Can the URL option help me and where is the documentation for it if it can.
Great application I have over 15 different setups and its great for all those sub releases of Forge and keeping up with the latest versions. Keeps it nice and seperate.
PS: Nothing detailed needed, even an example of an existing URL would help which I can then "reverse engineer"
All the launchers have their ins and outs. Magic Launcher I've worked with, and it checks for compatibility cleverly. MultiMC has a downgrader and lets you have completely different .minecraft folders.
The best I can come up with for this particular launcher is that it allows the user to switch between multiple Minecraft accounts. Would I be correct? I'm sure there are also bits I'm overlooking.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?

You can switch jars, accounts and .minecraft folders in this.

Send me an email (http://sk89q.com/contact) and I can give you a guide to it. It's not something that is currently "officially supported" because I have been tending to other, unrelated, projects.
Hey man, great launcher, LOVING IT, been using it for a while, but when do you think the .app will come out? The .jar starts slow, and sometimes takes multiple attempts to start.

I tried to install Not Enough Items by loading it into the Addons list as normal, but that didn't work because it needs to be loaded from FML's coremods folder. Can functionality for loading addons as if from the coremods folder be added or is that not possible?

You need to put NEI into the coremods/ folder, then add FML or Forge in the Addons list.

This launcher is kind of crap. Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong lol.
Magic Launcher causes crashes. Even with Vanilla Minecraft. This launcher does not, so it has that going for it...but what is this misleading "configurations" crap? Are you seriously telling me I can't save the configs and simply choose one each time I start the launcher? Furthermore, do I seriously have to have THREE SEPARATE .minecraft appdata folders for 3 profiles?
Right now, seems like a joke, but as I said I could be doing it wrong.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE KILL MINECRAFT FEATURE, I ALWAYS FORGET TO DO THAT AND THEN I CANT INSTALL MODS UNTIL I RESTART MY COMPUTER. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't reiterate just how awesome this launcher is for the ease and simplicity of one click mod installations. Thanks for that and so much more Sk89q.
