ok, i figured out why it wasn't working for me. i went and installed gtk+ (which is a c++ library) instead of gtk# (a c# library). it works perfectly now

Glad to hear it! been dying to test it out since Direwolf's "App Spotlight" on it was uploaded!
I was wondering if there is a way to make this friendly with SONIC ETHER'S UNBELIEVABLE SHADERS mod. I was able to compile a dev build from github of v3 and everything works great but need to run the installer after I add my mods and then remember to rerun the installer again if I make changes to the jar mods.
If not no big deal as the app itself is very cool. Can't wait for the release of v3

Seems a little wasteful to add functionality for a single mod. It would probably be better if Sonic provided files for manual install and then you could do it normally. Rather than the other way around.
