Not sure if this has been asked before, but is it possible to make a version of this to handle server.jars? Changing out the server files is a pain in the but and this would make it a ton easier to update on the fly like I need to.
I have a bug running vanilla Minecraft 1.3.1 on my mac, a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion. This only happens when I am using MultiMC - it does not happen when I use the normal Minecraft Launcher.
The bug is that when I resize the window Minecraft is running in, the game does not adapt to the new window size. Instead the user interface elements just get bigger and go off of the screen.
Does Forkk13 know that the Linux Download is an .exe file?
Ubuntu (and any other Linuxs') cannot open .exe files without the use of a third part program.
It's called Mono. Mono is also part of the Linux development package, which is why Ubuntu 11.10 users were unable to use the program until 12.04 came out (updating the Mono would crash core dependencies). Don't use WINE, it won't work. As is stated in the OP. In big bold letters.
If you aren't sure if you have Mono, pull up the Ubuntu Software Center and put 'Mono' in the search area. Should come right up. It'll ask you for your Sudo to install, as it should, and done.
I have a problem with MultiMC.
When i Launch Minecraft the Game Crashes with the following error:

Well, I'm having a problem now. Since the server and the mods I play with have updated to 1.3.1, I try to make a new instance. It downloads the packages and all and runs, but it makes no sounds.
Now, I have no mods trying to be installed, it's normal minecraft. But when I try to play a world, no sounds are played.
It's not a problem by my end, since my other instances with 1.2.5 have the normal sounds.

also is there a way i can get an instance download contain build craft and all its add-ons?
it has alot of stuff in it
1) Gimme the name of the guy who runs that page, he should be shot for misleading people. Forge only works for 1.2.5.
2) No. Go download the stuff and support the modders.

MultiMC works for me i do get a crash report though when i exit MC i can play it just fine and everything its just when i exit MC. also those that are saying this is for 1.3.1 its not in matter of fact 1.3 is the version of MultiMC not the version its made for. only get a crash report though when playing 1.3.1 on exit not 1.2.5 which works just fine on exit.
I did after about 4h of playing 2 days ago my screen went black every time i move the mouse but that was also when i updated my graphics card and did not restart so i think that's what the problem was there.

Are you running 32 or 64 bit OS, and are you using 32 or 64 bit Java to run the game? I think the problem is that you are trying to use 64 bit Java on a 32 bit OS, but I might be wrong.

Are you running 32 or 64 bit OS, and are you using 32 or 64 bit Java to run the game? I think the problem is that you are trying to use 64 bit Java on a 32 bit OS, but I might be wrong.
