Having to go back to your original error now.
What are your system specs? How much RAM in your computer? How much RAM (if any) is "dedicated" to the graphics? How much RAM (if any) is "shared" from the system memory?
Are you changing the amount of memory allocated to Java/Minecraft when trying to load the game?
Are you trying to use a command file/batch file to run Magic Launcher instead of running Magic Launcher directly?
Have you updated your graphics drivers? Have you updated the rest of your system drivers?
Do you have both the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Java installed? They are separate downloads. The 64-bit edition does not include the 32-bit edition. Make sure you have both the 32-bit and 64-bit editions installed.
Also, update your Java while you are at it.
Update your LWJGL files. (I think this alone could fix it due to your Onboard Integrated Intel Graphics Chipset.)
Are you trying to run Minecraft from a non-standard location other than the default installation location?
Just to be absolutely clear, did the crash happen right when trying to load Minecraft or when trying to enter one of your world saves? If it was when trying to access one of your worlds, make sure you have at least temporarily switched back to the default texture pack if you weren't using that one already.
I'm trying to install computercraft and i have modloader, modloadermp, minecraft forge installed and it says no mods found
ComputerCraft is a mod that needs to be re-packaged in order to work properly with Magic Launcher.
If you extract the "ComputerCraft" folder from the download package, you can zip up the "contents" of that extracted folder (not the folder itself, and you may exclude the "lua" sub-folder inside of it) and add the mod to the list of internal mods (the first section of Magic Launcher's mods setup screen). But, you need to place a copy of that "lua" folder (and all of its contents) into Minecraft's "mods" sub-folder underneath its own "ComputerCraft" folder like it was originally placed in. Then, everything should work fine for you.
From what I tested, it appeared everything was working fine and it just needs to access those "LUA BIOS" files from that hard-coded path ( ... "\.minecraft\mods\ComputerCraft\lua" ... ). The rest can be zipped up (again, not the "ComputerCraft" Folder itself, just the rest of the contents of of that folder) into a new zip and added to the internal mods list.
How much RAM (if any) is "dedicated" to the graphics? How much RAM (if any) is "shared" from the system memory?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you changing the amount of memory allocated to Java/Minecraft when trying to load the game?
No
Are you trying to use a command file/batch file to run Magic Launcher instead of running Magic Launcher directly?
I'm pretty sure I'm directly running the magic launcher
Have you updated your graphics drivers?
Yeah...I think..
Have you updated the rest of your system drivers?
No
Do you have both the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Java installed?
Yeah, had to do that when I accidentally set off 10k blocks of TNT (long story)
Also, update your Java while you are at it.
I've updated my java 5 times in the past week (google chrome is bad with java)
Are you trying to run Minecraft from a non-standard location other than the default installation location?
I'm not sure if I'm understanding this question right. I know I'm not using the roaming/appdata/whatever... because I have Minecraft Profile Manager in my minecraft mods folder on my desktop
Just to be absolutely clear, did the crash happen right when trying to load Minecraft or when trying to enter one of your world saves?
When I was trying to load minecraft. I only use the default texture pack and rarely my painterly pack.
I'm not sure if I'm understanding this question right. I know I'm not using the roaming/appdata/whatever... because I have Minecraft Profile Manager in my minecraft mods folder on my desktop
Raising the next questions, ...
In Magic Launcher, did you select the location that the minecraft.jar file was installed to rather than leaving Magic Launcher to still look for it in the old default %appdata%\roaming\.minecraft\bin location?
Would you please at least temporarily remove that profile manager and completely empty out any Minecraft "mods" folders you have set up? Magic Launcher actually lets you create different mod profiles itself. And, it can do it all from one install location. But, it has to know what that install location is if it isn't the default installation location. And, we want to start with that current installation location's "mods" folder completely empty.
In Magic Launcher, did you select the location that the minecraft.jar file was installed to rather than leaving Magic Launcher to still look for it in the old default %appdata%\roaming\.minecraft\bin location?
Yeah, I checked that the second time I booted launcher up
Also, I just found something strange. The error message for the magic launcher and my original minecraft are exactly the same, but I don't get this error message signing into my profiles.

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: unknown characteralso shortly after my computer gets a bluescreen
Been using Magic Launcher a while now on my Mac and love it.
One minor feature request:
When lauching the patched minecraft jar, the default java icon is used rather than the minecraft icon. This is confusing when tabbing between apps.
I'm not sure exactly how Magic Launcher implements the process call to launch minecraft. However, if you're using system calls adding an icon just requires an additional parameter to the java call. As bash-like pseudocode, something like:
JAVA_OPTS='-Xincgc -Xmx1G'
# check if we're using a mac
if [[ "$(uname)" == "Darwin" ]]; then
# Mac-specific options
JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Xdock:name=Minecraft -Xdock:icon=favicon.icns"
fi
exec java $JAVA_OPTS -jar minecraft.jar
I found a bug in the Launcher itself in Linux. When I try to click "Browse" to select a folder location to use, nothing happens. After running the launcher through a terminal, I got this exception:
MagicLauncher 0.9.7
java.home: /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/jre

As it said, browsing folders (Desktop API) is not supported on this platform (Linux).
ComputerCraft is one of those mods that have hard-coded paths for some of the files. In this case, the "LUA BIOS" files for the in-game computer. The mod itself can be loaded internally but the files it looks for need to be available in its hard-coded path. In this case, that would be the "ComputerCraft" sub-folder in Minecraft's "mods" sub-folder. Note, ComputerCraft even states that those files should NOT be zipped up as is the case with other ModLoader-dependent mods where you can just drop the mod's zip file into that "mods" folder.
Of course, ComputerCraft is also a mod that needs to be re-packaged in order to work properly with Magic Launcher.
"\.minecraft\mods\ComputerCraft\lua" ... ). The rest can be zipped up (again, not the "ComputerCraft" Folder itself, just the contents) into a new zip and added to the internal mods list.
It is easier just to load the whole mod externally in the mods folder. Much less work.
