um so idk if im doing it wrong or something or maybe it still needs to be updated or something but whenever i try to open it i see a command prompt flash on for half a second then it dissapears and nothing happens.... i dont have any log of any sort to show either :l

The same thing happens to me. I open it with Java, command prompt flashes, and then nothing. It reminds me of when I tried to make a shortcut to run it in 64bit java.

The default java on every computer is 32-bit java if there is 32-bit installed.
Sadly you still need to 32-bit java, otherwise you will not have java on 32-bit internet browsers (chrome, 32-bit firefox, etc.)
Many java apps, online and offline, are also incompatible with 64-bit java as java doesn't have a system like WOW64.

I love it, installing mods used to be SUCH a hassle on my mac, but now with the Magic Launcher, installing mods is easy as killing a zombie in Creative!
but will be so much better with the remember me!

This launcher is amazing and makes switching mods off and on and adding mods so much quicker. I have only run into one problem and that is how would one go about adding Better than Wolves mod? I've tried just adding the folder (with mod loader in there) like the other mods but it will not work while the others do. It's not giving me a conflict error, it just won't show up when playing. I also tried adding the specific folder in the zip file called MINECRAFT-JAR like you would use the normal way and that did not work either. I've had Tale of Kingdoms, SPC, Too many Items, Optifine, and Mod Loader run correctly and seperately. Can anyone please help me?

Is it possible to disable the reddit tab, or if it isn't could you make it possible to disable the tabs? This looks like a great mod but I'd rather not download it because of the reddit tab.

EDIT: I donwloaded it to see for myself if I could mess around with the tabs, and they seemed pretty stationary.

I'd give this launcher a 7/10, because you can't disable the tabs, and the GUI is godawful.

If that's your opinion, don't use that tab, I personally find reddit to be a good place for discussion.

Back On topic: I really like the launcher so far and it seems very promising in the future, will definately keep an eye out for updates.

Edit: to clarify, by "don't use" I meant "don't flip to" as you already pointed out you cannot disable any tabs.

Just ignore and move on........ dont think anyone cares you give it 7/10 how about you go make something better if your goign to complaine about something thats meant to give you simple stuff right there? SO instead of people having to search for they jave script coding or making a bat file they can simply add more memory or manage there mods easier.

I dont see anything better then this or even see anything you have made.....

Apologies in advance, but when I download the launcher, it just opens winRAR, not the actual launcher. What am I doing wrong? Sorry for the noobism.

Assuming you have Java installed, you currently have the file association for the ".jar" file type wrongly associated with WinRAR instead.

You can remove this file association from within WinRAR but you really need to re-associate it with the Java Platform. The simplest way to do this is to right-click the file and go down to the "Open With" section (you may have to hold down the shift key on your keyboard while right-clicking if "Open With" isn't on the context menu). You should be able to figure out the rest from there.

If you're talking about during the actual download process, first go into WinRAR to remove the ".jar" file type association. Then, try the download again. You may also be able to right-click the download and choose "Save As" to at least get the file. But, first try going into WinRAR to remove the association so you can download it.

I would like a function where you can select different screen sizes and perhaps specify a custom one also so when you start up the game, the game is that size and not the regular default small window.

Ok so I may have did something wrong but I deleted my .minecraft folder used the normal launcher to get a clean install then started this selected my mods reiminimap v3.0_01, Improved Chat 1.1, InvTweaks-1.36-1.1 modloader, Optifine_1.1_HD_A start to play everything looked to work but as soon as I hit E to open my inventory game crashed with this. error
