Not really sure what is going wrong but I think it has to do with my internet and NOT the launcher
So why post it here if you think it's not the launcher
But seriously - yes it does look like something is blocking your internet access - you have a lot of
Address is invalid on local machine, or port is not valid on remote machine
Can you use the normal launcher to log in ??
If so - try disabling the [News] option in magic (That's what all those web addresses are) & see if it still gets blocked....
If it still does, but the official launcher is not blocked... is it possible that your firewall/antivirus hasn't been 'told' to allow Magic internet access ??
I know that Kaspersky can 'block' magic for some reason - even when disabled - the only solution found was to actually EXIT kaspersky, logon & THEN restart Kaspersky (This is the post I did earlier about it)
I also know that certain Windows versions have 'advanced Security' & that seems to affect Magic somehow - it may be something about IPv6 addressing or something like that (See this post)
The person never got back to say if the tip in the post I found actually worked ('vm argumnet -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true') so I still don't know if the problem was fixed or if it actually works

Thanks for helping me out. I only have one question.
How do I "exit" Kaspersky? Is there a button that logs me off of it or something?

I honestly don't know (I'm guessing YOU are using Kaspersky then)
- A google search however shows that you 'Right click on the taskbar icon & select Exit'
This shows how to for 2011 - I guess it's similar for other versions
Force Update
Rename your mods folder mods2.
Open Magic start over with adds, Forge first, optifine last.
You might also try downloading Forge again, your might be bad.
What version of Forge does ClaySoldiers say you need? Sometimes the latest version of Forge won't work!
when i put opta fine i get two errors instead of one so what do i need for the forge? (All please)
I go to install the clay soldiers mod, and i have the forge and mod loader and everything,
then Once I run It, it says there is a duplicate in my system, But I Have alredy gone through LITERALLY all my files, and serched using a file searcher I have, Ive gont through minecraft.jar and tried to find it but STILL every time I go to use it, :there is a cuplicate, ClaySoldiersMod:CSM_v9_05.jar" why? If ANYONE has awnsers REPLY PLEASE!

Did you READ the MagicLauncher installation instructions?
Do you READ anything beside your own post?
Does it work? Did you even try it?
Ask again when you have an intelligent question!

Quick question - have you got 'CSM_v9_05.jar' stored in either '/.minecraft/mods/' OR '/.minecraft/coremods/' folder
and I guess that you also have 'added' it to your list of MODs in Magic so it looks like this .....
If so then that's the reason.....
What happens is that Magic will 'add' all the MODs in the list to Minecraft.jar, THEN run minecraft
> which in turns runs the code inside 'Modloader' (or 'forge' - whichever you are using)
> which then Loads in whatever it finds in '/coremods/' or '/mods/' folder automatically
If you have claysoldiers in any of those folders then you are actually adding the MOD twice.....hence the duplicate message
I always place MODs into a SUB-Folder of mods (e.g. '/.minecraft/mods/1.4.7Mods/<nameOfMod.zip') THEN [Add] them in Magic
this prevents any possibly conflict between versions & duplicates
I also notice you mention 'I have Modloader AND Forge' - if you are using the latest 'forge' you DON'T need Modloader as Forge has Modloader support built in - having both causes conflicts
My crash log after installing forge and modloader while having modloader inactive:

Check you have the correct version of Forge/Modloader for the version of Minecraft you are running
and make sure you DON'T have forge &/or Modloader in the /.minecraft/mods/ folder otherwise you are trying to get it to load itself when Minecraft starts up
!PLEASE!
ive looked every where and nothing ive found solves it, with lots of mods that should work perfectly it goes through the fml crap and the mojang screen but with some mods it goes black and stays like that and you have to close the window(such as cc,csm,mo creatures, ect ect ect)
I'm trying to use this launcher to use Optifine and Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders, I've followed the instructions for all three things, and it just comes up black, the log says this: (Sorry 'bout this, but, being new, I still don't understand how to use spoilers)
<snip>
It just stays like that, if I swap the mods round, it runs, but only Optifine works, not the Shaders, any ideas?
I accidentally missed out a part of the install for the Shaders, but now everything's blue... hmmm
Try this post I did for someone who also had a problem with SEUS... It worked for them so it may work for you

I tried everything CannonFoddr suggested. I allowed access to java through my firewalls, turned off monitoring for java, and even redownloaded the launcher. Yet nothing works. Its annoying not being able to play online and I need some help.
Ok i'm trying to different mods i don't know if they will load with magic launcher (i tryed if their is any one who did it please PM or just quote) they are Aramis mod pack (RPG Game Mod) and the later Flathams. any help
This is a great launcher, but the mods I use only work if I login from the launcher. If I log in on the main Minecraft Launcher then the mods aren't here. Is this supposed to happen? If not, then please help.

This is normal....
Due to some clever trickery - Magic somehow adds the MODs to minecraft.jar WITHOUT actually modifying the file, keeping Minecraft.jar 'clean' (unmodded) each time.
Each time you run Magic - it 'adds' the mods each time before running the game - leaving minecraft.jar untouched
When you use the official launcher - it will only run the 'Clean' minecraft.jar

Love this app. It makes managing my Minecraft configurations so much easier.
I do have two requests though; first of all any way you can add support for managing Coremods? Also is there any way to make the configuration chooser list bigger (wider)? I like to use long names to describe my various configurations (e.g. "1.4.7 F+LMM+RMM+PFMM") and the small size of the configuration chooser box means my names get cut off. I can make the launcher window bigger but that doesn't make the field itself any bigger.
I get this problem when I start MagicLauncher. It just started happening today.
