add the abilty to allocate mroe RAM then this is complete
Isn't there this already? Open the launcher - Setup - At the bottom you have Memory, write how much you want here.sp614x: Would be great if you added so that you can rezise the window. I dunno if this is OS related (im on linux).

A problem appears if you want to add mods wich comes in a .zip file, but the .class files are in directories within the .zip file. For example: zombe's modpack. its a .zip with 3 folders; classes src and config.
Here I have to extract the classes and then make a new archive and put the classes in it and then add it to the launcher.
Please fix this somehow :smile.gif: With MCPatcher I could just add a .zip file then select wich directories and files I wanted to have in my minecraft.jar.

I am using java 7, using a 100% fresh minecraft folder, and it's not working. I have it to where it opens with "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" which i believe is the default java.
EDIT: Seems to be giving me an error saying Error: Could not find or load main class C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\New folder\MagicLauncher_0.8.5.jar
Getting this error makes me understand that i'm doing something wrong somehow. I'm not sure how but if somebody knows let me know. :biggrin.gif:
When you are in Setup, and pressing Add to add a mod to the Mods section, can you make it automatically go you the .minecraft/mods/ directory? And possible create the mods/ folder if it doesn't exist.
Perhaps even mods/ then a subdir like the version number;
mods/1.0.0
mods/1.1
Another thing that would be pretty nice, is if you just let the file name of the launcher to be MagicLauncher.jar. I use a bash script to run the file, and if you update I have to update my bash file every time. The version number is showing up in the launcher itself already.
This is awesome. As expected another great work from Sp614x. I just wish it was an exe so I could smack it onto my taskbar so being pinned on my start menu will have to do for now =P
I have 64-bit Java installed, and I'm still getting the heap size error:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
How do I point this to use the right Java?
EDIT: Actually, it seems like any value higher than 1024 will cause Java to either not run at all, or freeze shortly after starting. This is Java 6-30, Minecraft 1.0.0 with Optifine 1.0.0 multicore.
Just sits on "Preparing download request".
Anyone else having this problem?
EDIT:
Ha, so apparently I had to use FireFox. Guess Chrome is to Superior.
you allready can. in setup where it says 1024 your can change it.
Be sure to open it with Java. Try right click and select Open With...
Just open Magic Launcher instead of the regular minecraft.exe. You can even delete minecraft.exe, you dont need that anymore.
Remember me box isn't in yet, look at the Coming Soon on the OP.

OptiFine has to be installed after Forge.

FYI, the latest version is 0.8.5. The topic says 0.8.3.
Be sure you open it with Java.
Have been, forgot to mention it in the op.

The buttons and functions for it is there, but not the actual feature. Don't you think he's gonna add it?

mods/1.1
Just checking to be sure.
