Just crashes now after updating, wish things could just be consistent for once :sad.gif: Never updating again, took me ages to get all my mods working properly.
Nothing should have changed in this update that could cause things to start crashing for you. And, you shouldn't have lost any of your configuration settings either. So, maybe something got corrupted in your download of the new update. It's always a good idea to try re-downloading the program if you have problems after updating to see if that fixes those problems. Even if you decided to go back to the previous version, you still shouldn't have lost any of your configuration settings.

You have Java 1.5 and some of the mods need Java 1.6.
When I attempt to load the latest ModLoader 1.1 using Magic Launcher 0.9.5 (found on Risugami's thread), it yields 2 errors. The log says the following:
Missing class member: public Z aoLightValuesCalculated, class: uc, mod: ModLoader.zip
Missing class member: public static [[F redstoneColors, class: uc, mod: ModLoader.zip
Is this an issue with ModLoader? Or do I need to manually modify minecraft.jar to get this to work?
So, I would have one preset to launch different snapshot.jar without mods, another preset would be to run regular minecraft.jar with mods.
You can already do that by creating a new "configuration" profile. Create a new configuration with a new name, select the minecraft.jar file you wish to use, select the mods you wish to use it, and click OK. You can then switch between that one and any other configuration profiles you have created.

I have a mod I have made, and zipped it together like any other. Is there a certain way it's read? Because it's zipped, pointed to the zip, but yet it says "no mods found"
I've been trying to fix this but not sure how.
Happens with some other mods I have tried to add in there as well. All I have are the class files and a folder containing the .png files in the zip. It's zipped and organized like Rei's minimap, but yea. It works, but not sure why it still says no mods found.
Any help would be awesomely appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Hmm, according to MagicLauncher 0.9.5, I have two errors on my Forge (version 1.3.2.1), and I also checked modloader + modloaderMP (both of them are okay though).
I love magic launcher, but since updating from 0.9.4 to 0.9.5, i haven't been able to run minecraft at all, i haven't changed any setups, all of which worked in 0.9.4. I would post the error log, but minecraft forums says its too long and i can't post it. Its about 1000+ lines mostly saying that classes are missing. Im on a mac and using the mac version of magic launcher. Here is the top part of the error log, it mostly repeats what it does here, but with different classes missing:
I have an empty .minecraft folder. Launch Magic, enter login, pass, press Loginand then

Minecraft and all the mods that I have installed run just fine, but I'm a bit concerned with a couple of things. Better than Wolves has 1 error listed even though I have it in the correct order as suggested by FC in his thread. And yes, I've tried moving the mods around and disabling mods, but it ALWAYS has that 1 error, which I think has something to do with ModLoader.
The following is the log that is created when I test minecraft through the launcher. I know that I have the "wrong" LWJGL version for running Java 1.7.0_01, but keep in mind that everything runs just fine. Also keep in mind that I'm running this on a laptop (ASUS K53TA). Anyway, I'm guessing the conflicts are block ID conflicts, which doesn't surprise me as BTB overwrites some of the BTW and BC content. Also, I noticed that Modloader MP is loading AFTER the Modloader mods...?

The link I downloaded from was: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20629262/Latest/ModLoader.zip
Thanks! And sorry if this isn't technically related. I'm very new to Minecraft, much less mods.
Modloader needs to be listed very first in the Mods list of the Mods section on the Magic Launcher setup screen.
:cool.gif:
You can already do that by creating a new "configuration" profile. Create a new configuration with a new name, select the minecraft.jar file you wish to use, select the mods you wish to use it, and click OK. You can then switch between that one and any other configuration profiles you have created.

I think anyone's first question is going to be, "Why aren't you using Magic Launcher Version 0.9.5 instead of Version 0.8.8?"
I wonder if this is a false alarm?
Can you post it on pastebin.com?
