Did you intend to post this in the Optifine thread, a shader thread, or somewhere else entirely?
No, this is the magic launcher post, i was trying to see if anyone knows if one will work with the launcher, cause nonthing i tried works, i get errors or not able and such.
The coremods will be added when the update to 1.6 is ready, which is almost finished, so the coremods are in fact the next on the list with some other small issues.
Ah, yes, of course. Not just Optifine, but the move to the new launching system that has you hard at work. Thank you for making this application; it is obviously a real help for many of us.

I'm still not exactly sure what you want, so I'll try to be as helpful as I can be. I play with a brightness of +25%, use the "dynamic lights" mod at http://www.atomicstr...amiclights.html, and modify the torch power in the SEUS shader files as per the instructions that EskimoNoise posted in one of the shader threads. This makes the game more than bright enough for me.
If you're getting errors with any mod, make sure that the .zip is structured correctly. Some mods have to be extracted from a folder within the .zip and put into a new .zip if the author did not intend for the mod to be compatible with Magic Launcher. Also, the version of the mod has to be for your version of Minecraft. What are the "light level" mods that you have tried so far, and what errors do you get?

I tried a couple like What my light level, and a light level reader (forget name) mostly i figure it help me figure out where my light level is low to help prevent monster spawn. They don't seem to want to work with magic launcher, needed you to edit your minecraft folder to work or down loading a differnt kind of launcher. If i can't find anything that fine, i figured i just try and ask I rather use this launcher then worry about my light, heh,

The thread for those last two mods is http://www.minecraft...-floatingruins/. Make sure to add all the mods in that order to MagicLauncher and it should work just fine.
Ok, my brother and I use biomes o' plenty and EBXL respectively. (Flans mod issues.) When he disables EBXL for him to play and vice versa, it renames the EBXL.jar to .jarX and the BOP.zip to a .zipX. And then they aren't viewable in the mod selector and I have to manually change the file extensions. Really annoying.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If someone in an S class cuts me off, I don't get upset. He obviously has important things to do. Now, someone in a Toyota? We're fighting.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
The Java VM is what handles memory allocation for Java applications. The OS doesn't have some special Java handler than allocates memory for an executable that exists as a Java Runtime Environment AND the application that will run in that environment. That doesn't make any sense; one of the features of the runtime environment is memory allocation. Frankly, if he wants any help he'll have to be more descriptive as to when that error occurs and what he is actually doing immediately prior to the error. But Java failing to start is sort of a big, vague problem.
Well, I don't know nothing about JAVA, it's VM or whatever.. so all that you have said is total gogglygook to me...
my post above is just a repeat of what been said before in this thread about messages about 'Errors occurred during initialization of VM'
(it's quite handy that 'search this topic' box up the top of the page you know - I wish some people would use it more often ).
The OTHER suggestion often repeated in this thread with this type of problem is to update to 64-bit Java if you're using a 64-bit OS
im using minecraft forge and divineRPG mod but it always give this result;

Thank you so much, sp614x. Magic Launcher has been invaluable to me. This is probably the single biggest time in Minecraft's history that Magic Launcher must be overhauled, so thank you for still working on it. I know Mojang are adding some of your launcher's features to their launcher, but I doubt they'll add everything.
Something occured to me. Mojang have changed the file structure for 1.6 (sounds are downloaded to a new folder called 'assets', common components are downloaded to a new folder called 'libraries', etc). My question: If I wanted to play pre-1.6 versions of Minecraft in the future, would there be an incompatibility problem?
Example: Lets say I get a new computer and need to install Minecraft from scratch, so I use Mojang's new official launcher... I assume it'll only download the 1.6 file structure. Then lets say I play Beta1.7.3 by launching the jar in Magic Launcher. Would Beta1.7.3 screw up because it can't find the sounds and the java assets any more? Or would the game still download the necessary files to the old folders?

I've posted this on the Water Shader thread as well, but could use some extra help.
I'm running into a veryyy annoying issue.
I've gotten the standard OptiFine, the Magic Launcher, and the correct version of the Water Shader (triple checked)
Running the game with Optifine alone is working fine, but once I add in the Shader, then I get a crash.
Here's the full log I got from the Magic Launcher.

I've found very few mods to use the libraries as of yet. I've only found single player commands, which uses worldedit. Then there's an optional library of js. The launcher for 1.6 will need to have support for it.
Basically any mod that puts things in /bin/ will use libraries.
I have been using magic launcher for a long while and it has never given me any trouble in the past, but now I have two bugs to report. The first is a bug in the chat log. Since 1.5 was released and minecraft started outputting chat to the console, some custom chat markers (the ones with a section sign) will cause a disconnect from servers, if the log is enabled. When this happens, minecraft disconnects from the server with and internal error, and the chat log logs a stack trace that seems to indicate that the text box was unable to display a character. This does not happen if the "show log" is not checked in the configuration settings. I have not encountered this bug since 1.5.2, but I have done very little playing with the chat log enabled. The second bug only occurs on one server, but happens even with an unmodded config and does not happen with any other launcher. When I attempt to play on MCPVP's capture the flag server (mcctf.org), I can only play for a short time until the connection is lost. I am still able to walk around in the world for a few minutes until the connection times out, but I am no longer connected to the server during this time. Additionally, the chat log or console will log "Exception in thread "Client read thread" java.lang.Error: Interrupted attempt to aquire write lock" and a stack trace. The top of the trace includes three magic launcher classes below three javax classes. The disconnect happens within seconds, usually. After about a minute or two the game will return to a "connection lost: read timed out" dirt screen. Here is a copy of the stack trace. If you need more information or testing I can do that!
No, this is the magic launcher post, i was trying to see if anyone knows if one will work with the launcher, cause nonthing i tried works, i get errors or not able and such.

BUG REPORT TIME! *fanfare*
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
my post above is just a repeat of what been said before in this thread about messages about 'Errors occurred during initialization of VM'
(it's quite handy that 'search this topic' box up the top of the page you know - I wish some people would use it more often ).
The OTHER suggestion often repeated in this thread with this type of problem is to update to 64-bit Java if you're using a 64-bit OS

any idea?
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.

--- END ERROR REPORT 5720853d ----------
I'm running into a veryyy annoying issue.
I've gotten the standard OptiFine, the Magic Launcher, and the correct version of the Water Shader (triple checked)
Running the game with Optifine alone is working fine, but once I add in the Shader, then I get a crash.
Here's the full log I got from the Magic Launcher.

I was thinking about manually going into the minecraft.jar and putting in the files, but I dont really want to mess up anything that the MagicLauncher works on to add mods more easily.
I would appreciate ,a lot, help to find a solution.
This looks like a block ID conflict when two mods try to use the same block ID.
The water shader is looking for its configuration and can not find it: E:\Documents\Minecraft\.minecraft/bin/shader/config.txt
Basically any mod that puts things in /bin/ will use libraries.
Mods I work on and maintain:
