Thanks for the 1.0.0 fix, solved my error screen issue. Made installing mods so much easier. Also, nice work on making conflicting mods easier to put together. Mc patcher got nuthin on this! Long live Magic Launcher!
I've tried over the various weeks to load Magic Launcher with Optifine and SPC with the default manual download zips from each file for 1.3.2.
Now, I was able to run MagicLauncher with SPC as a selected mod when I removed the WorldEdit jar from the SPC.zip (which I thought fixed the problem). But when I ran ML with the SPC mod zip loaded, SPC didn't run, even though I was using Magic Launcher and it allowed the SPC zip file (minus the World Edit jar) to run.
All I want is Magic Launcher to let me use Optifine and Single Player Commands in 1.3.2! What on earth am I doing wrong?
I can give a minecraft.jar for SPC and Optifine,
PM me for link,it will be long kinda because im working on a texture pack
I didn't really understand what you said there, mind explaining a bit easier? LWJGL stuff?
Ok, what do you not understand that the base folder needs to called .minecraft? For Example: Your current minecraft directory should be %appdata%\.minecraft\ (For most people that's C:\Users\(Your User)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\)
Click start and open up your appdata using %appdata%
Select the folder called ".minecraft" and copy it to your desktop. (We are copying it because it already contains the right files to run, thats what I meant by the lwjgl stuff)
Now, place the folder you copied onto the desktop where you want it. (For me personally, My new base folders end up as %appdata%\.minecraft\(Setupnamehere)\.minecraft\)
Then select the base folder in MagicLauncher and run the game. Enjoy
EDIT: Also, can I have a link to the source of your profile pic? TF2 Girl Sniper... nice
Three more questions:
1. How do I know that it is installed?
2. Will it work on Single Player?
3. Do I have to use the regular game loader or the Magic Loader for the mod?
You are retarted.
1. You do not install it.
2. Duh.
3. You have to use the Magic Launcher, you do not understand that this would completely replace the vanilla launcher (unless you wanna download the latest version... :P)
For some reason, whenever I try to use minecraft forge, it says 10 errors and whenever I start it up it shows the Mojang symbol and then black screen hangs and the game doesn't start. If anyone knows how to fix this, please respond. It would help greatly
You're probably using a version of Forge for 1.4.3 or 1.4.4 when you have a 1.4.2 .jar. I can report that Forge .349 was the old recommended version, and Forge .350 also works on 1.4.2.
I can give a minecraft.jar for SPC and Optifine,
PM me for link,it will be long kinda because im working on a texture pack
Ah, isn't distributing minecraft.jars illegal?

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
Sometimes next to a mod, it will say 1 error or 4 errors or something, how can I view the error?
You can't -
I'm taking a guess that Optifine or Forge is giving you '1 error' - if so, this is normal.
As long as Forge is @ top of list & optifine is near bottom of list, Minecraft should still run OK
If in doubt - add 1 MOD to the list & use [TEST] > if it works, add another MOD & re-[Test] even if it say 'errors'
If minecraft crashes on a particular MOD - then you'll know which MOD is causing the crash & perhaps THAT MOD thread may have a solution
I know it's a pain in the a*** doing thing one step @ a time but it does help narrow down the possibilities of which MOD is causing problems (if any), & you'll most probably find out it's not Magic that is at fault but the MOD
Though I think you should edit how the External Mods work by making it so if you make a folder inside the /mods folder and put external mods inside of it then it will run all of those external mods at once. Also its annoying how you need to remember what mods such as Audio Mod or GUI Api need to be active while you are using a external mod so I think you should make it so we can edit an external mod so if you select it, it also selects the normal mods required.
Okay, as much as I love this launcher (I wouldn't be anywhere without it), it's got a little bug in it that's stopping me from playing modded Minecraft at all. As soon as the 1.4.4 pre-release became available, it started recognizing my 1.4.2 minecraft.jar as 1.4.4 and crashes the game the moment I start it. And yes, I'm sure I'm using 1.4.2, as using the vanilla launcher will show the version as 1.4.2 in the main menu. I've tried using a clean vanilla 1.4.2 .jar, but it still won't work. Halp?
Nevermind, I realized that the latest forge I was using was actually for 1.4.4, which screwed things up. I didn't catch it because it wasn't labeled other than the version number.

Dude, it works for ANY version, its labeled 1.0.0 because that is the LAUNCHER version, not MINECRAFT UPDATE version. (Sorry to sound a bit rude and all, but you should read a bit before you post dumb questions like these.... No hard feelings :D)
im very confused and the other two mod pages havent responded in days so does anyone know how to install sophisticated wolves or titan steel using magic launcher. please dumb down the instructions if possible. thank you

That's a problem with you installing SimpleOres incorrectly, it looks like.

perhaps it's something to do with your OS/PC etc....
What are you using (I use Windows XP)

Make a Mod Pack Builder/Opener and server mod tester
a Way to choose which texture pack to use for individual Profiles
I could have
- One profile for normal game playing using a HD texture pack
- One profile that uses 'default' for the snapshots
I think normally...
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
