Also: I'm testing v1.3 Right Now, its still for Minecraft 1.0.0
It should work 100% for 1.1, but i haven't tested due to MCP not being updated yet.
Edit: Just added more things The new update will include:
You will be able to destroy blocks with left click. Single Undo (Undo once after you place a block) Everything writes to the file once you have exited the program, using the in-program exit button or "esc"
Right now I'm testing v1.3 so there will be no mistakes such as in v1.1
woderful tool. this should be helpful to all modders. now i can spend less time thinking and more time doing. I just have 2 questions for you, Is there a size limit and Can you use custom blocks or blocks that use metadata like a bed? well, i guess that is actually 3 questions but who really cares.

Size limit? Yep, but the tool has a bigger grid now.)
(Also size limit for WorldGen in minecraft? Nope or at least I think so.)
Custom blocks? I'll try adding that for v1.4
Also...I still have to figure out how to do the whole metadata thing.
Once I figure that out I'll try to add it.
Use this function, renamed the arguments so you know what goes where.
world.setBlockAndMetadata(int x, int y, int z, int blockid, int metadata);
Thanks, I'll use it and add it to v1.4
_________ Updated to V1.3
You will be able to destroy blocks with left click.
Single Undo (Undo once after you place a block)
Everything writes to the file once you have exited the program, using the in-program exit button or "esc"
What V1.4 Will have:
You will be able to set on what block the structure will generate.
You will be able to use custom blocks
The Tool will be able to change metadata values (I might add this to v1.5 instead)
And some other changes.
I noticed a bug that doesn't write the blocks the java file.
Use save before exiting the program, so in-case that bug happens, you can just load the file, exit and you will have the generated java file...

thank you sir, ive been limiting myself to WorldGen (due to the sheer amount of time it would take to figure out how structure files work) , now i can do structures

I'm glad you like it, just watch out for bugs, there's some in the program! D:
Just make sure you save A LOT.
please can you post older versions beacause 1.4 doesn't work ... yeh it just returns false.
PLEASE i'm beginner to modding and I HATE WRITING THOSE fu****g COORDINATES.
Or if you could fix that bug it would be great too :biggrin.gif:
thank you and for you
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Me: Hey notch can i ask you a question? Notch: Yes. Me: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING WHILE CREATING CREEPERS !?!?
how do you make a block when you right click it the block will change to your jen insted of jening randomly?
First make a new block.
In the block java file put this somewhere:
public void onBlockClicked(World world, int i, int j, int k, EntityPlayer entityplayer)
{
//replace this with the generation code
//world.setBlock(i,j,k,o);
//make sure you put all world.setBlock lines in here.
}
Now when you right click the block, everything you want will generate right there.
Who didn't xDI made this: -youtbevid-
Without this tool, a few months back
And I'm going to add nether tree's and this tool is super useful (I think)
Btw, can I have a version of 1.2 or something?In 1.4 it the buttons dont work and it just returns false in the world gen file
The Program is now updated to v1.4.1
It should fix those problems.
It works for me but I don't know if it works for other people.
Sorry for the late reply.

Works fine for me.
OMG! Ive been looking for ages for a tool like this as i was making the structure in java and it took me 3 hours to make, it then decided to go apeshit and my whole MCP was corrupted and i couldn't get the code to generate the structure back... but now i have this :biggrin.gif:
My mouse is also not centered at the block i'm breaking/placing with, it's like 10cm off.
Anyways, thanks for making this program. I hope you can fix these errors soon
The buttons work though, just the mouse is not centered. All you have to do is drag the program of the screen until the mouse (not your mouse but the mouse that places the blocks) Is on the buttons and it should work.
MAJOR REQUST-----
MOAAAARRRRR grid space!!!!!! I am making a LARGE castle, city, farms, market place and i need ALOT more grid space. SUGGESTION- Make the grid never run out of space. THE WAY ID DO IT(Not coding) basically my idea would to be after you make the grid infinite make a new control that when you click and hold, it will move the grid around so you can go as far, high etc. as you want.
Just a helpful suggestion (I do reallllly hope you add this though) :biggrin.gif:

I'm trying to fix everything so far, I'm developing a even newer engine for it, so there will be a really big grid space.
I'm really sorry for the bugs, not sure whats causing them.
Use "f" for full-screen and see if that helps with anything.
Thank you sir for your efforts :smile.gif:
But it still doesn't work for me :sad.gif: .
I think the problem is that the mouse is far from the square that edits the blocks like in the picture below:
The blue X is where my mouse is. And i can't click on all the buttons.
and for you
Take your time for fixing bugs :biggrin.gif: .
Hmmm, Indeed?
Ha, thanks.
