I am testing this program by saving a few specific chunks from a 1.12 world and then deleting the rest so when I load the world in 1.13 the chunks will be reset with the aquatic features. I have a Mac, and I am following a tutorial made by PythonMC on youtube on how to delete/prune chunks, and I used your Mac download but it will not let me open/edit the region files for the world(r.-1.0.mca, r.-1.1.mca). They are greyed out and I can't drag them over. If I try to simply open the "saves" file, it doesn't have a drop down menu. Am I doing something wrong? (My Mac is version 10.13.6)
I need some help editing my scoreboard.dat file. I have 2 objectives. Objective1 and Objective2 .... I want to combine them so that if a player has a score of objective1=1 and a score of objective2=2 it would set objective1=2
How can I do something like this with the find and replace options?
Why is there no generatorOptions in my level.dat for my 1.14 world? I want to delete specific chunks and generate an air world, not default grass superflat.
Do you have a really basic user guide? With 47 pages in this topic, I haven't scanned through the whole thing. But I can't even identify the executable file to get started.
I'm running Debian 10, and I've installed mono-devel. But "mono-core" and "mono-winforms" don't seem to exist as installable packages in the Mono repository. I cloned NBTExplorer from Github.
And that's where I'm stuck.
EDIT: The Windows version works in Wine, and was easy to install using PlayOnLinux.
Thank you for this. I am just getting back into minecraft and my creative world did not have cheats enabled. I found this and was able to make that happen by editing the level.dat. Amazing!
Is there an update for this somewhere for 1.14.4? I'm trying to find the bounding box for a Pillager outpost, but in the explorer here, it won't even list the chunks where it is, and in another editor I found that shows the right chunks, I just get INVALID for the information.
Hi everybody,
my game is crashing with:
"The game crashed whilst ticking entity
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Ticking entity"
in crashreport i found this:
"...Entity Type: minecraft:trader_llama (aod)Entity Type: minecraft:trader_llama (aod) Entity ID: 271
Entity's Exact location: 0.37, 66.00, 461.88
Entity's Block location: World: (0,66,461), Chunk: (at 0,4,13 in 0,28; contains blocks 0,0,448 to 15,255,463), Region: (0,0; contains chunks 0,0 to 31,31, blocks 0,0,0 to 511,255,511)...."
If i am trying to remove this tile NBTExplorer is crashing with this:
"NBTExplorer encountered the following exception while trying to run: Exception
Message: An Exeption from Type "System.Exception" will triggered.
Can you guys help me please?
It's not tile, it's entity. Specifically, https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Llama

Now to identify the "allow cheats" parameter...

I can't start it in minecraft if I enter / NBTEditor please help.
What made you think that's at all possible?
This is a standalone program, you should never try to use it when your Minecraft is running.
Hi, i want use NBTUtil to delete for example Time tag in level.dat
How will look command for this?
If you want to ask about NBTUtil, find the appropriate topic.
NBTUtil is part of NBTExplorer. Search for topic of Util leads to topic of Exproler.
Since when?
That says nothing, really. Especially considering that search returns no results for "NBTUtil" or "NBTUtils" at all.

Is this project abandoned?
I scored 82% on the Minecraft Trivia Quiz. How much do you know about Minecraft?
When I try going to region and then try to open one of the files in there it shows me this, what do I do? (pic related)
Thanks

Any way to point the default path to another location than default minecraft?
I run a server and want to point to the server location.
