It works perfectly for me, except when I open minecraft the sound doesn't work (as in there is no sound). This happens on the corresponding number 9 for whatever the version number is (I think it's alpha 1.1.17_02 or something like that). Not that crucial of a problem, but I would love to have sound for my minecraft. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks.
I saw l0rd0fl0l fix this, but I don't know how. I have 1.2.5, and I even deleted my entire .minecraft, but I keep getting "your bin folder is not vanilla of current version" error. Plz help?
EDIT: Oh Lord I'm stupid. I just needed to delete the 1.2.3 folder in the /patches folder.
Back when I had 1.1.0, I used this to help reinstall 1.1.0, and it stopped the annoying nag screen from popping up even with 1.2.3 being released.
Now, I got a "is this possible?" question. I have a modded 1.2.3 .jar. Say I was to use this thing again to downgrade back to 1.2.3 from 1.2.5, to stop the nag screen, delete the files that came with the program (what I did with 1.1.0 and had no issues), slap my modded .jar over the original.
Would it bring back the nag screen? Or does the thing that tricks the nag screen that you've updated but you haven't, elsewhere?
Thanks for doing this I love minecraft (duh!) and I always wanted to do alpha testing and stuff but sadly my friend told me about it in 1.7.3 and I always wanted to go back to indev (so I could see rana and Steve) and go back to 1.5 (so I could see herobrine) and 1.7 so I could revisit my old worlds without corrupting them! Thanks so much I will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread!
Is it possible to downgrade a server .jar file with this? I'd like to start playing some adventure maps, but i dont want to have to deal with the hunger bar while playing legendary with my gf lol
Do you have to be connected to the internet in order to rollback MineCraft? Or can run MCNos online to get the patches, then transfere everything to another PC in order to rollback MC? I ask this because I don't have internet at home
Really? I've had to bump this post four times now and no ones answered me. Come on, I just want an answer.

nevermind... i found out b is beta, a is alpha...
That would be cool!
Nevermind, apparently I have to use the .exe inside the .zip itself, I cant extract it then use it.
