(I think there is a similar problem a few posts back)
I'm guessing you guys don't have bspatch installed.

Everyone, I have v1.0.0, I am not sure if I can upload it or not, so.
@sonicrules1234 Can you update it, please?

Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again because a vision softly creeping left its seeds while I was sleeping and the vision that was planted in my brain still remains within the sound of silence

In honor of the 1.1 update I'm running a test for the updated Indev patch. This fixes a few issues with the original I created, namely the inability to save/load if the client has to go into offline mode, and it makes the fact that the 5 online save slots don't work a lot more clear.
I hate to whine, considering this is letting me carry on with my Technic stuff, but I'd recommend putting the patches in release order, not alphabetical. It actually took me (derp.) quite a while before I realised that 1.0 was at the top of the list.
I'm sorry if I've got something wrong, I'm not doing it right, or something else has happened, but MCNostalgia does not seem to work with Minecraft version 1.1.0. I tried to backdate to 1.0.0 to play on a server that hasn't updated to 1.1.0, but I'm presented with this message
Error: The files in c:\users\******\appdata\roaming\.minecraft\bin are not for t
he current version or are not vanilla.
Please delete your .minecraft bin folder and run the launcher again to get a van
illa minecraft of the current version
Press ENTER to exit.
Only way I've changed this error is that I changed my username to asterisks. I know my version of Minecraft is both vanilla and at 1.1.0, so I think the problem may be that since I don't have and can't find a version of MCNostalgia updated for 1.1.0, it may still view 1.0.0 as the current version. If I'm wrong, correct me and don't be too harsh since I'm taking a shot in the dark and I don't know anything about this.

Try redownloading everything, I'm wondering if the patches failed to update or something, as this seems like the most likely situation. Might be worth forcing an update on the jar too, just to be safe.

hi i got linux i tryed start .exe with wine and it started and i press enter than 1 and than it closes and it than i start minecraft and still 1.1 and than i tryed with python and same there and it dont wanna patch to 1.0
Read the first post, it says if you are using linux, do the python version. Also make sure the bsdiff package is installed.
If you are playing an older minecraft version, the newer mods aren't compatible. You would think that they would be, but apparently not.
You need to actually extract the zip first.
I'm guessing you guys don't have bspatch installed.

As you were told, it needs updating. The current patches take you from 1.0.0 to previous versions, not 1.1 to previous.
Thank you for being helpful.
It's not broken. What needs fixing? The patches are differentials and thus have to be remade every time the game updates.
No, you cannot upload 1.0.0, and learn to be patient.

Yep, its done now. Link is in the first post.

The installation instructions are in the zip. You should be able to install this just fine on a Indev jar acquired by MCN.

Thank you! I don't know why, but that fixed it!
Yes, it has been for a while now. Read the first post. :tongue.gif:

Neither, use 1.0.0
It's at the top of the list, with ID 1. I had that problem - though small - too.
