I recently decided to make the switch from the C# based server softwares for classic as they are all either extreme on computer resources, or are limited to windows.
I'm going to use Opticraft from now on as it's done in python which is my favorite language. The problem as you can imagine is the methods for saving maps differs greatly between python and C#. Which means I have no way of easily converting maps..... unless I had a client that copied the maps to itself and was able to regurgitate the map data by building it all back out. PERFECT there is this builder bot 4CA!!!!
Problem: It doesn't build in Opticraft. I attempted to do a .restore main (place two shrooms) and also .restoremap main (causes it to freeze up). I have a test server up if you would like to see what is going on exactly.
Since the login servers were being annoying, i tried to use the server.txt, i do know how to get the direct connect URL, and i did, but now i need to know how to use it with the bot.

Moomoomoo3O9, (Moomoomoo THREE O NINE, NOT ZERO!) Redstone Wirerer. I also make Dokucraft Textures!
testingthisgamer can u tell me how can i use my bot in FREEBUILD FOR FUN | BIG MAP server? I've heard that u used your bot sucessfully on this server. So how or can u release a new update for that?
With the latest update to the server, you have to slow down the bot to a super slow speed. Bots pretty much are useless on their server now. Just use their /c command I guess.
failed to get serverinfo. This could be because:
- minecraft.net is down (again)
-hash is incorrect
-username/password is incorrect
no cached connection info found. if you have the info, you can create server.txt manually. it must contain username, ipadress, port, mppass in that order, each on one line
plz someone help me i did all that is in the tutorial and i get this error :sad.gif:

cows are nice , but if we kill a cow me must rember this lose when you fight REMBER THE COWS
As for vinc1996, that message displays when the logging into minecraft.net doesn't work as well as the loading of the server page on the minecraft website. Make sure that the username and password in info.txt is the BOT'S username and password and not your main account. Also make sure you put the HASH, not the entire url of the server, the hash is the part of the url with the random scrambled numbers and letters. Apart from that, your at the wrath of your computer whether it will work with the mechanize plugin for python and logging into minecraft.net. Also, try logging in several times as sometimes it just doesn't work for some reason and you need to try again.
Why is there some colors disabled with a # by default in config.py ?
Can you explain me how to do a sphere ? i alsmost fail all the time.
The colors disabled with a # are for the drawimg command as the way the command was constructed would be that sand and gravel would fall.
The sphere command builds a sphere between the two points that you place. The center of the sphere would be at the midpoint between the two points that you place.
Testing are you going to release the new bot that you talked about a couple pages back? The one that you can put the commands directly into the bot instead of using chat?
Thanks and by far the best bot ever in my opinion!
dude thank, verything worked. but im trying to get #block to work. but i cant. what does the #mean? can u show me an example of how u would type it. iv tried everything. like for ex. .block twolf75 it doesnt seem to work. please let me know.
Okay, I have had the other versions of this BOT, going back all the way to bot 2, so I have an idea of what I am doing here. I just downloaded this BOT, and set up the user.txt I ran the bot, with my other working username, and password like this as said (minus first dash):
-username-password-opium_hash_in_my_pipe
and it then says:
-minecraft.net is down <again> (and I checked to make sure it was up)
-hash is incorrect (tried many servers worth)
-username/password is incorrect (not the case)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
then I made a server.txt to try it another way, cheating I guess you could call it. I filled out the info in the correct order and way (minus dashes):
-username (BOT username)
-IP (from WOM URL)
-port (classic 25565)
-mppass (full URL {from minecraft site, not WOM})
then it does the connecting string thing, then says:
-Got kicked! Reason: Login failed! Try again.
Whats the deal here? I know it is right in front of my face! Am I doing the username-password-weed_hash wrong even though I am following the exact instructions? To my understanding, The URLs have been changing quite often, and it has been confusing the BOTs. And I know what url hash is, so I am doing that correct. Please help

So go grab a backup of your favorite map named "main" at the size of 128 128 128 and have at it!
I'll have the build permissions set to the basic rank and there wont be any antigrief which will allow the bot to have free reign.
Thanks for all your help python brother :smile.gif:.

And have it work on pm!
Constant sending of position is a feature in the in-dev version of the bot. Also, what does pm mean in this instance?
Like have it be compatible with the whisper function on mclawl based servers?
Well, for the next update, I made something in several minutes where you can type the commands directly into the console.
how did you fix it?? plz i need your help.
